[Bo has a couple drinks herself just as often as she stands behind the bar to serve them to people. No, she doesn't get paid for this, but it passes the time when nothing's going on and it tends to provide good conversation all the same.

Come say hi to her. She seems to be pretty new around here.]

[Bo may be new, but Thoster greets her like an old friend as he walks into the bar.]

Beautiful girl and a few drinks? Don't mind if I do. [He acts like someone invited him. The party don't start til he walks in, tbh]

How've you been, lass? Settling in alright?

By all means. No girl wants to drink alone.

[Especially not a girl like her. That's just too depressing.]

What would you like?

[And as she's pouring whatever he decides to order.]

Feels like home already. Not that I remember my last one, but from the little I remember, I'm not sure I had anything nearly as reliable as this one.

Oh, why don't you surprise me. Just keep your hands to yourself this time and we'll be alright.

[He's joking. Sort of...]

[She looks up at him through her eyelashes briefly as she mixes up a drink (a Tom Collins, actually) and pushes it over to him before she makes herself a vodka martini.]

I promise, it won't happen again.

[Unless she has to...which is highly unlikely.]

I was only teasing, lass. It was a hell of a crash course in that handy trick of yours, though. [He takes the drink and lifts it in a toast before taking a drink.

If it came in handy before, it did even more so after I came through the Veil. It makes finding a place to say and clothes to wear a whole lot easier than it would have without it.

Well, no need to worry about that now that you've joined up, is there?

[She laughs and shakes her head, taking a sip of her drink.]

No, not anymore. I've definitely got that covered. Plenty of boots in the closet.

And I bet you look good in every last one of them. [He smirks against his glass before taking a long drink.]

You're quite the interesting girl, aren't you? Beautiful, talented, and a hell of a barkeep on top of it. I'm starting to wonder if there's anything you can't do.

I like to think so.

Oh, now you're just trying to flatter me.

[Not that she minds, clearly.]

Gotta stay on your good side, don't I? But I mean every word of it, lass. On my honor as a bard.

Most tend to prefer my good side to my bad side. Then again, the rest might say my bad side is more fun.

[She winks. Totally teasing. Well, mostly.]

I can't say I've met very many bards. How much honor do they usually have?

[Andie isn't remotely new or remotely interested in alcohol. She's just... really, really hungry and the bar's the closest place with anything resembling food. Though, of course, she could reach the kitchen in seconds, at the moment, seconds feels like hours.]

[The words come out in a high speed jumble. She starts trying to slow down her breathing as she grabs a handful of peanuts and shoves them into her mouth.]

[Bo blinks once, reaching down into the cooler and pulling out a beer, twisting off the cap and putting it down in front of here.]

Here. Take a sip, slow down, and say that again for me.

[she does as she's told, then grimaces and coughs. At least it gets her to slow down a little...] Beer, yuck. Sandwiches? Please? Or other food?

Hun, by the sheer speed you used getting from the door to that seat, you could probably find a kitchen and make one faster than I could blink.

[Still, she holds up a finger to pause her before her head disappears under the bar before she comes back up with a bag of pretzels and a can of peanuts, setting them on the bar. (Search 17)]

Looks like someone got lucky.

[Andie gives her a grateful look and starts shoving pretzels into her mouth. She swallows, then says:]

That's my next stop. This was closer.

Well then, glad I could accommodate.

[Apparently burning all those calories running makes for a big appetite.]

So if beer's a no, how about a soda?

[asap]

Soda's good! [She beams as she finishes off the last of the peanuts.] It'll hold me over til I can get real food, at least.

[She's already starting to pour it from the soda gun even before she lets her answer. Hopefully coke is okay. She slides it toward her.]

I'm Bo, by the way.

Andie. [She beams and slurps the soda through a straw about as fast as the soda gun filled it. Then she slides it back across the counter.] More please?

[Well, that name sure does ring a bell. Hello recipient of Thoster's possible unrequited love.]

[Refilling that soda, yes.]
