[ The castle can be a happening place, even on more mundane days. This log is for random interactions over the course of this month. Because not everyone is into parties, ok.

You are encouraged to start your own threads and tag around, and feel free to threadjack into any on-going threads that aren't specified as 'closed' in the subject lines since people can enter into rooms even in the middle of what's going on. [God damn it, Amara. Why are you so logical about this??

Charming rubs a hand hard over his face. He doesn't even have words right now, he's just trying to think about where he got the information about Amara being cursed and how that and her own story match up to what he remembers from the mission.]

[ when he doesn't respond, she gets up and slowly crosses over to sit next to him, placing one hand on his shoulder. ] I don't regret my decision.

[He doesn't seem to notice her movements, too caught up in his own confusion about the whole situation. As her hand touches his shoulder, he glances up quickly, turning to look at her.]

That's good. [The words are flat on his tongue, eyes drifting from her face to her hand and back again.] Pretty sure we all prefer being alive.

[ her fingers curve along the line of his shoulder and her eyes seem to light up as she watches him, a beautiful smile curving up her cheek. ] I know I do. It means being here. [ she drops her gaze for a moment, before looking up at him demurely through her lashes, adding with bold suggestiveness: ] With you. [ (charisma check 24, GAWRSH SHE'S PRETTY) ]

[Charming gulps, but this time not from confusion or discomfort. No this time it's just when a pretty girl looks at you and you get tingly in your no-no place (will 20 total...)]

[ wow she totally notices that expression i guess, and isn't about to let the moment slip, so the back of her hand slides up along his jawline, her voice dropping to a gentle murmur. ] I know it probably sounds like madness, but--

I've never met a man like you before. So brave, so commanding, so selfless, to come there as you did and risk your life. [ she lifts her face again, and wow it's remarkably close to his. her eyes drop to his lips before dragging back up again to meet his gaze. ] And so very handsome. [ ... and that would be a nat 20 charisma all up in that husky voice of hers. .__. amara don't fuck around. ]

[The combination of her skin against his, that tone in her voice, that look... He doesn't stand a chance. (will 12) His eyes close briefly and his jaw works open and closed while he tries to remember how to word.]

I just... [He clears his throat and looks at her, but he finds a hard time concentrating when she's so close.] ...wanted to do the right thing.

[ well. she's just about to get a lot closer. she trails her finger over to his chin and then drags it down over his lips and stares at them openly, as she asks enticingly: ] ... And what else do you want? [ she leans close enough that he can feel all the warmth of her and... probably get an amazing view of her cleavage too lbr. ] Do you want me?

[His breath hitches when her finger grazes his lips. How is he supposed to form thoughts when blood is quickly draining to relocate to a more single-minded area of his body.]

I... don't know. [He answers honestly, because he doesn't know how to do anything else.] I didn't think it was real, but...

[But now? She did a good job of convincing him that there was plenty of reason why she would switch sides. And then she threw herself at him. And what was he supposed to do? For all that Gold and Emma had given him pieces of the man he was, he couldn't remember it, what it had felt like to be that man. He knew what this felt like, though, and he couldn't deny that he liked it.]

[ her fingers graze across his cheek and slide into his hair as she raises her lips to the corner of his. ] Does this not feel real?

[All he wants to do is surge forward and press his lips to hers, but there's enough uncertainty in the back of his mind to help him resist (will 23).]

You do... it does, but we only just met one another.

[The argument is extremely weak (diplomacy... 2) and likely only being voiced to say that he tried.]

[ plus she got a nat 20 to resist his ... 2, so yeah, curse is unswayed by your argument there, buddy. still, she draws her face away enough to be able to actually look at him, though her hand stays in his hair. ]

Does that matter? Will you want me more in another day? A year? Twenty years? We feel something now, and it's strong and real to us. Shouldn't we embrace that?

[ she presses her cheek against his gently, murmuring in his ear. ] Time is an illusion, something to be mastered. That's one of the first lessons my people came to understand.

[The vibrations from her words softly spoken so close to his ear cause his eyes to slip closed again, a little shiver snaking down his spine. He's not even listening to what she's saying anymore, but the way she is saying it is extremely convincing.]

Amara... [He meant to add an argument to the end of that but it dies off and leaves only her name hanging there, slipped out hoarsely as his hands clench to keep from grabbing her.]

[ that's a really nice effort there, prince charming, but she just crit failed her will save, so uh. she'll do it for you.

as soon as he says her name, she seems to crack, and her lips slide to his, a sudden sound of desire escaping her throat as she winds her body flush against him. the kiss is breathless, harder than it needs to be as her desperation takes hold of her, as if she's afraid that this is the only chance she'll have at it and she wants to take full advantage of the moment while it lasts. ]

[It doesn't feel magical or shoot fireworks off behind his eyes. It's not true love's kiss, but this man doesn't know what that feels like.

What it does feel like it warm and tangible and hungry. When she moves against him, pressing her body to his as though the length of her frame could extend the kiss into a full embrace, all he can think is her name echoing in the back of his mind.

His arms slip around her waist, holding onto her, even at the strange angle of sitting beside her. All the arguments from before have flown right out of his head. He had come to her room with a purpose and this certainly wasn't it... was it?]

[ when he doesn't draw away, she considers it some kind of encouragement, and slips into his lap, one hand sliding down over his chest indulgently as she slows and gentles the kiss, adding a sweetness to it that speaks of remarkable quantities of tenderness considering how little they actually know each other. but she does finally break the lingering moment, and stares at him in wonder as she begrudgingly draws back. ] David...

[Any plans he had to try to put the brakes on go flying right out the window when she moves to sit in his lap. If they weren't both aware of his physical attraction to her, it was impossible to ignore once she made contact with his lap. He lets out a half strangled groan against her mouth. The tone shifts towards tenderness and he can certainly follow suit, but before he has the chance, she's pulled away. He blinks a few times and tilts his head slightly.]

What's wrong?

I simply... can barely believe this to be happening. [ her fingers rake fondly through his hair as she smiles sheepishly, but happily. ] I've lost so much -- given up so much, and none of it matters to me anymore. My whole world turned upside down, but I do not care. Not if I can have this. [ and as she leans in to kiss him once more, she shifts her hips against his very purposefully and slowly to really drive home what this all entails. ]

[His mind is too foggy to think about the consequences of tomorrow. He's clearly getting in over his head, but did you see those charisma checks from before? He cannot be held accountable for his actions. He was operating under the influence of hot magi ass.

Luckily, she leans back in and removes the need for him to respond, and better yet, she shifts her hips against him and just removes the rest of his common sense with that movement. His hands fly to her hips, gripping her there a bit tighter than he planned, guiding her to move like that again.]

[ his obvious increasing need draws another lustful noise from her, and she opens the kiss in response, silky tongue sweeping over his as she undulates her hips against him in a very provocative rhythm. her fingers knot in his hair, as her other hand moves very deliberately to undo a button on his shirt. ]

[His lips part by instinct, welcoming her tongue more readily than he likely should. The arguments of why this isn't something that he should do continue to fade further and further back into his mind with each tempting movement of her hips (will 8). His head is swimming with the sensations of her mouth, her hands, her body.

As he feels the button of his shirt loosen, he lets out a slight groan. His right hand leaves her hip to move between them so that he can help her with a few more of the buttons. This entire night is a series of bad life choices, but damn if they don't feel good right now.]

[ as soon as charming makes a move to help her with opening his shirt, amara seems joyfully convinced that he's 100% on board with all of this, and ... crit fails even further, finally just ripping the last few out of frustration (str 15 damn gurl). her hand slides up his bare chest greedily, her kisses growing more insistent as she rocks against him down south. her mouth slips down his throat, licking and kissing and nibbling at his skin the whole way. it's all very sexy and... overwhelming. there's no beat of hesitation anywhere in her actions, only that confident desire. ]

[His eyes fly open wider as she tears the last few buttons. He can hear the distant sound of them striking various pieces of furniture in the room. He sits up straighter, as if to try to say something, possibly even to stop her. But her mouth is against his skin then, and her hips keep moving... and there's no way he can form a coherent sentence, let alone try to ask her to stop. (will 9)

His hands slip to her waist, then creep up around her back, holding her against him. His fingers curl, gripping at her clothing lightly as she finds a particularly sensitive part of his neck. He's not quite ready to rip her clothes off but he is very aware of them.]

[ she smiles against his skin and then slides back up his chest to look at him, reaching gently for his arms, as she moves back to her feet, tugging lightly on him to join her. she casts a look over her shoulder at the bed, and then affixes him with an all too sultry come hither expression, hand moving to his as she starts to draw him that way (charisma check 23) ]

[AND HE FINALLY GETS A WILL SAVE IN THE DOUBLE DIGITS!!!

... but it's still not enough to beat that charisma, god damn.]

Maybe we should- [But as she takes his hand and tries to lead him back to the bed, his mouth goes dry and he can't remember where that sentence was going. Standing in his now-open shirt, he steps forward with her with a dazed obedience. Too bad it's not a curse- it's just a boner.]
