Call Lila crazy (and you would be right), but wearing armor on a nice day is stupid. Wearing armor period is stupid to Lila though. It's not like the tree is going to come alive and bitch slap him to the ground like in Harry Potter. (Or is it?)

Regardless of the violent tendencies of nature, the derisive little snort is courtesy of the teenager a bit away. Judging. Always judging.]

Aren't you going to ruin that sword?

[It's enough to get him to stop and turn towards her, leaning the sword against his shoulder. He's used to armor, and in order to stay used to it, he practices while wearing it. All the better for when a real battle happens.]

Wouldn't be much of a sword if it couldn't survive contact with a bit of wood.

[He holds it in front of himself, then, turning it over in his hand before smirking back up at Lila.]

Besides, this is a practice blade. You couldn't easily skewer a man with it, though you could bash his head in well enough.

[His logic makes her raise an eyebrow, she isn't easily impressed within first meetings but his word choice makes her curious and she moves forward slightly.]

Not easily, but you could do it with some difficulty?

Of course. You could skewer a person with most anything if you tried hard enough.

[He grins at her, resting the sword against his shoulder again. He's not particularly interested in skewering her, after all, no matter how blasé he is about the topic.]

Good to know. I don't have that much upper body strength though. [Or any at all, weakling. This is why she uses guns.]

Where I'm from, knights who can't swing a sword aren't worth much. [He cocks his head, eyeing her thoughtfully.] Of course, knights who are women don't even exist.

Where I'm from knights don't exist period, so we're pretty even on how useless we'd be in each other's worlds. [She shrugs calmly, like she doesn't mind being horrible with a sword.] And I have other ways of causing pain.

[twinfucker]

[He just gives a twisted little smile.] All women have ways of causing pain.

[At least he has one thing right in all respects.] That is very, very true.

I'd still prefer to stick with my own more straightforward method of thrusting a sword into the hearts of my enemies, but everyone has different talents, I suppose.

I went to a far off city called Miami. It's in a realm with no kings at all. [ISN'T THAT AMAZING?] We took a monstrously fast ship made of metal that flew through the air instead of the water to get there.
