[Felicity smirks before turning in the direction of the spider. She pulls out her phone and takes a wide frame shot, making sure that she recorded that the spider was specifically in this woman's office, before moving closer and zooming in, snapping a few pictures so they could see exactly what kind of spider it was.]

We're not actually stealing the thing, right?

[bittersweeter]

I don't think so, no. [ she leans against the desk, pulling her gloves out of her pocket and putting them back on, itching to just upend everything in the room and actually steal the spider just to spite the woman because lila's generally aggravated at being poisoned. ] We just need proof she had it. With this -- [ she waves a hand to felicity's picture taking. ] And shipping manifestos or whatever Faye and Emma are getting, we can tie to poison to her and then threaten to expose her and the mayor.

[ a beat. ] Because apparently it would be rude to let me torture him.

[She takes one last shot before pocketing the phone and reaching back for the light switch again.]

Then let's get out of here, before your guard friend wakes up.

[ he won't. but the faster they get out of there, the less time she'll have to ponder breaking everything in the room so she readily agrees, snapping the light switch off as they exit the room. she completely forgets to lock the door (wisdom 6) so hopefully felicity will remember that. ]

[Yep, Felicity's got it covered (wisdom 19). She quietly closes the door behind them and listens for the sound of the lock sliding back into place before heading down the hall after Lila.]

[ scampering down the halls, she pushes open the door around the old guy's sleeping form and steps over him casually, motioning for felicity to go ahead of her to the car before crouching down just to make sure the old fella is still breathing before she runs over to the car as well. she can drop the curse when they're pulling out so the poor lamb just thinks he hallucinated and passed out. pausing before she gets in, she glances back at the office building and flashes her partner in crime a bright smile. ] Breaking and entering is fun. We should do it again sometime.

[Felicity smirks back as she hops over the body and out onto the sidewalk, making her way towards the car.]

Maybe next time we should actually steal something.

[She picked the worst person to say it to on top of that.]

I love you a little bit, Felicity. [ AND IN THE CAR. hey anastacia. ] Fin. We're done.

[ anastacia starts the car! ] That didn't take long.

It was easier than we thought.

[Which ... breaking into a government building should not be easy, but whatever. Felicity slides into the back seat and is currently emailing the photos to herself, just in case something happens to her phone (wisdom 17).]
