[One mystery solved. Now for the other one.]

The mayor also happens to be shipping around containers of hazardous waste. Seems to indicate he's planning something big, and I'm thinking it's happening sooner rather than later.

[Possibly because they know someone was looking. Whoops.]

There are a dozen things he could be doing with them. Finding a way to frame Taenya for dumping it somewhere - keeps anybody from taking her pro-nature stance seriously. Or, he could be looking to poison the Earth that Taenya's hoping to regrow. No point in tearing town the buildings if what's beneath them can't even grow a weed. [ she shakes her head. there are too many possibilities, it's impossible to narrow down exactly what this is - which means ... ] We need to figure out where he'd sending them.

[bittersweeter]

Or it's a bomb. [ you were all thinking it. she straightens up and addresses emma, because she's pretty much put emma in charge even though there are actual knights in the room. ] What if Faye and Felicity go after the pictures of our venomous friend and we go to the docks to find some shipping manifestos. Or I can go with Felicity to the docks and you can go with Faye to the office.

[ because lila knows she and emma can shoot. firepower could be necessary. ]

[Faye taps her nose with her index finger, because bomb is exactly what shes' been thinking. She gestures to Christos as she talks, since he's the one that gave her the information.]

I guess all the Shadowkind are being shipped off to a special part of town. I'm guessing the warehouse is their housewarming present.

We may want to keep Felicity from the docks. If they saw anyone, it was probably her. [For once, there's no judgment in her voice. She may actually be worried for Felicity's well being. Go figure.]

[She nods.]

She's right. I got spotted when I was taking a peek. I don't know how much of my face they saw, but if we're switching things up, I should probably head to City Hall.

All right. I'll take Faye to the docks, Lila and Felicity should hit the office. [ she looks to lila. ] Getting spotted might be bad news for Felicity, but you can turn it into an alibi if you get caught - left something while you were there earlier, maybe? [ it's hard for her to make the choice to let lila go where she can't follow, but it's for the good of the mission, and as far as emma's concerned, it's the sensible decision to make when she sets aside her motherly, overprotective behavior. ]

[ chewing on a piece of minibar chocolate, lila nods, glancing at felicity as she uses her teeth to pull off a glove and wiggle her fingers, letting the glove drop and swallowing the chocolate. the beginnings of a smile creeps onto her face. ] Don't worry. If anyone is there. [ the other glove comes off in the same manner. ] They'll be asleep by the time we leave.

[ please note she said asleep and not insane or dead. a for effort. ]

I'm going down to the docks myself this time. Someone has to make certain it doesn't get bollocksed up again. [ congrats faye and emma, look what you get. ] Sir O'Keefe can accompany the others.

[Really, Christos? Felicity is starting to see why Faye doesn't like you and that is super obvious on her face right now (will save crit fail). She doesn't even care if you see it. Usually she's better at these sorts of things.

Whatever. She didn't want you on her branch of the mission anyway.]

Fantastic. When do we leave?

[Faye has hated Christos slightly less on this mission but that doesn't stop her from enjoying the hell out of Felicity's reaction. Her smile probably isn't appropriate for this mission. Oh well. She gets her act together quickly though.]

Sooner the better. If they think someone's poking around, they may try to move up the time frames. And these people get sloppy when they rush.
