The murder the Knights are sent to investigate took place in an abandoned warehouse, near the largest highway in London. The aging and dilapidated structure is covered with graffiti and bits of rusting metal.

Squad cars and emergency vehicles have surrounded the building. Outside the main entrance, police officers are questioning a small crowd of people when the Knights arrive.

Fred parks the car, and looks across through the passenger window.

"Must be the place. Let's roll."

[ faye's shot strikes it hard in the chest, and the dinosaur screeches, jerking back horribly. it pulls its snout back up to glare at her, nostrils flared, but then miles moves in front of her, and it angrily leaps at him, raking at him ferociously with its rear talon (atk 26, dmg 10). meanwhile, anyone who makes a 15 spot check will notice dr. fulbert peace out that door entirely. ]

[seriously tho, catching dr. mcsketchypants will probably not help them at this point (LIKE HE'S GOING TO TELL IT TO HEEL??), so astrid isn't paying him any mind and instead is focused on trying to slay the dinosaur. so she fires again. YOU CAN'T HURT MILES, HE'S TOO HOT. (ranged atk 15)]

[T-Diddle notices the not-so-good doc leaving (spot 16), but she's a little busy smashing it in the freaking skull with a nat 20 hammer time attack (dmg 39 with penetration too idk how this happened).]

[ t-diddle slams her hammer into the fucking dinosaur's skull like she's a character on the walking dead, and blood splatters everywhere as it flops on top of miles. he'll have to make a str check of 15+ to get it off from him. fred finally snaps to it, turns around and shoots at the place where the glass is splintering shattering it entirely. ] You alright?!

Pretty sure that one has a Napoleon complex. [Faye says, nodding at Taradiddle because w o w that was some rage. She cracks a smile about it, though. Because she's impressed, okay. Putting her gun up, Faye moves over and tries to help shove the dinosaur off of Miles because he's too hot to deal with dino carcass on him. But she's... not doing a great job (str 11).]

[His voice is gruff because um...the sheer amount of blood should be a pretty good indicator that is he not, in fact, doing fabulously. Though at least...a little bit of it belonged to the dinosaur.

That doesn't stop him from shoving that dinosaur the fuck off of him (str 20 total).]

I didn't expect to get brains all over my jacket today, though.

[now that ... that's over, astrid goes closer to miles and faye.] Where did it attack you? You should let me see. [not only because she's morbidly fascinated, but also there is a med kit inside her bag.....]

[ fred smashes out the remaining glass and clambers through the window with a nat 20 reflex save to not cut himself in the process. he just jumps through without touching a single edge. it's pretty damn impressive. ] He's sure as hell not getting away. [ yep. go alone, rambo. great plan. ]

Hey! [Faye backs up once the other girls show up to be useful and treat Miles' wounds. She's not on board for Fred taking off, though.] Wait up.

[Her reflex is only 12 so she doesn't look nearly as cool and probably hurts herself but w/e]

[His shirt and chest are basically shredded. It's pretty bad, but he's also not gratuitously bleeding.

And since said shirt is shredded, he'll pull it off over his head and toss it aside.]

If it's quick and magical, go for it. We can't let them go on that far ahead without us.

Point. [she takes his request for ~quick and magical~ as a turning down of her assistance, and decides to (wordlessly) say fuck you to both t-diddle and miles and dash off after fred and faye. with a ref save of 20 total, she gracefully clambers out the window. BYE BITCHES.]

Don't worry, I've done this lots of times [bluff 20. She's... tried it? On herself? Sort of. She takes a deep breath and touches him. She's praying this works. And it does! 5 HP for you, yay!]

[ the three of them burst out into the lobby, where the receptionist is now nowhere to be seen. fred glances out the window (spot 19) and curses under his breath ] He's getting in his car! [ he slams open the front door with both hands as they hear fulbert's engine start ]

[Faye runs out after Fred, seeing exactly where that jerk of a doctor has gone to (spot 22). She balls her hands into fists and mutters under her breath.]

[No one said she was a poet okay. Basically she is casting Flare on his ass, hopefully filling the windshield with a really bright light and making him run into a pole or something :| (spell dc is 14)]

Miles will then...book it toward the window as well, climbing out through the window and probably...reversing any help that healing spell just did by cutting himself on glass (reflex save 5)]

[ miles takes one damage from the glass as he escapes, and faye's flare spell can't quite reach to where fulbert's car is. the scientist backs out of his spot and his tires squeal as he pulls out so fast that the back of the car fish tails a bit. ]

[pathology]

[astrid is in tow with fred and faye. you know, just watching fulbert get away ... so she attempts to do her part and shoot out one of his tires. (ranged atk 17; and dmg 9 if it hits.)]

[ astrid's shot pops one of the back tires instantly and the car bucks again, then goes into a skid, spinning wildly. it comes to a stop at a 90 degree angle in the middle of the road. ] Hell yes!

[WOW MILES SHE IS NOT A HIGH LEVEL CLERIC HER ABILITY TO DO MORE HEALING THAN THAT IS LIMITED. She slides out of the window pretty slickly (reflex 19) and hurries over to the car.]

Where are your dinosaurs now, tough guy!

[ fulbert looks dazed behind the wheel and fred scurries after taradiddle, gun in both hands to cover her approach. ] Nice and slow now, bucko. Come on out.

[Faye is just gonna slide on up to join the front lines, drawing her gun as she moves, because that spell didn't work. Shooting things had worked, though. Maybe she will just do that some more.

Well, not right now. But she's ready for that if need be.]

[He was insulting himself, tiny healer, not you. He's just clearly made to get his ass kicked.

He joins the others approaching fulburt, ready to help subdue him if needed.]

[SHE DID IT, Y'ALL. SHE CAN'T SHOOT A DINOSAUR AT POINT BLANK BUT SHE CAN STOP A MOVING VEHICLE. she's giving herself a gold star. later. right now she's just joining the brigade, gun still out and pointed.]
