The "afterparty" is the real main event of the night at every squiring, but tonight's party is a little different than usual - Faith has successfully lobbied (as in roped people into helping her decorate for) a Chinese New Year's party, or Lunar New Year, theme. With Knights from all over the world, it was easy to get input from those who traditionally celebrate the holiday, and Wynn is all about the spirit of cultural unity. Not to mention, the second of the 15 days of the spring festival is all about spending time with one's family and friends.

The lavish, opulent ballroom has been transformed, filled with red lanterns, peach blossoms, kumquat plants, and chrysanthemums. People are encouraged to dress in red to ward off evil spirits and bad luck, and avail themselves of the New Year's Cake, golden champagne cocktail, rice pudding, candied fruits, and the Tray of Togetherness.

As always, it is every new Knight's chance to mingle and meet some of their new brothers in arms. Of course, a couple hours are provided following the ceremony for everyone to change, do hair and makeup, and choose from the vast array of formal attire in the closets of the balcony "dressing rooms" located at the top of spiraled staircases on either side of the ballroom. A separate dressing room exists for men and women, and they include full bathrooms (with, thankfully, very modern plumbing).
The squires are usually among the last to arrive, and the ballroom is full to the brim with a fancy array of people, of all shapes, sizes and species.

Um, sure, if you want! Be careful with the phone ones, those will steal your soul. Like, you'll look at Candy Crush and be like "wow, this is a dumb waste of time!" but then all of a sudden you're out of lives and it's like your entire life is ending. Your real one, not your Candy Crush one.

[Sure why not. He swipes that shit with his finger a few times but nope. Then he gets a match and it combos for days and there's all this confetti or sparkles or w/e tf candy crush uses for graphics and it's basically this fais.

So what happens next?

[More sliding with lukewarm results. He wants another graphical orgasm already.]

More levels! [graphical orgasms usually happen at the end of the level, so i guess he just finished that one and started another. she makes a few more combos for him so this level finishes and the crazy shit happens everywhere again.] These are just the first ones, they get harder later. It basically goes on forever, so it's impossible to quit.

[O-oh... that sounds redundant as fuck. He looks back to Astrid, confused.]

What's the point, then?

It keeps you from being bored all the time?

I can think of a number of way to alleviate boredom. [Yeah, that was meant to be about as suggestive as it came off js.]
