It's Valentine's Day! All around people are happily snuggling up with their loved one or drowning their feelings in booze and/or ice cream. Give out cards or chocolate or commiserate with other single people! Whoo Valentine's Day!

[She is so not dressed for a night outside of her room, but whatever. It's not like she's going anywhere important with anyone who matters. Plus, he just showed up unannounced so he doesn't deserve her best.]

We have got to teach you about holidays. At least the next one is St Patrick's Day and everyone expects you to get drunk then anyway.

[The surprise is that it's probably more whiskey. She pours his drink and slides it over before leaning on the bar, offering him a nice view of cleavage.]

So besides being completely dense when it comes to holiday, how are you adjusting or whatever?

[ Lifting the whiskey his eyes drift right down to the nice view, a grin crossing his features before he took a drink.]

Sure, but it's hard not to wonder. I showed up here and figured out I could use magic. I don't know if I ever knew that before. I don't know who I was before. I could have been anyone.

You can tell me all about your change here, but I dont remember back home, and I care not too. I came here, I nearly got hit by a van, it was full of musicians he taught me pretty much what i know here then dropped me off here after a few months. That's the whole tale.

A few. [She shrugs the question off. She really only counted a grand total of three people as friends (and even then, she was reluctant to use the term sometimes).]

I keep people around when they're useful.
