It's that time again. New squires would have heard the word come 'round that there would be open weapons orientation this Tuesday- which is also open to anyone who just wants to come spar with the newbies as well. As before, at the top of the main staircase is the entrance to an incredibly spacious room, that has gym and weight training equipment on the wall near the door, and then lots of old school training dummies and more at the far end. A glass door enters into a firing range, and another pair of large doors on the farthest wall lead to the armory.

Sir Carpenter waits over by the firing range door, arms folded. Red-headed Sir Ironsides hefts an axe over his shoulder and offers a boisterous greeting to those approaching, and Fred helps round people up to the middle of the room.

Some of the squires' mentor Knights will have accompanied them - others will have left them to their own devices. Everyone's welcome to tag into threads or make their own!

[Matthew really shouldn't be here. He has no weapons skills worth mentioning and a 6 in dexterity. He is clumsy and putting a gun, or any weapon, in his hand is going to be a hilariously bad mistake. Hilarious for us and not so much for Matthew or the people around him.

But he's fascinated by the weapons all the same. Knowledge hungry for learning all about them and the armor as well.

He smiles brightly at all the different metals, makes and shiny objects and gives the excited dwarf a smile.]

The detail work on some of these is stunning. Do you have a forge in the Castle?
