Formerly a two story barn, the bar Lila rented for Faye's birthday has an Art Deco theme that continues through the building, with each space having been given a contemporary twist. The lavish interiors create a feeling of forgotten decadence. Each room has its own distinct and unique ambience, all complementing one another yet reflecting different moods, depending on the feeling of the moment, flowing through to the secluded garden.

The man at the door has been notified to waive the cover charge for anyone that comes bearing a gift, but if you don't come bearing gifts... don't expect Lila to feel pity for you. You're paying that cover charge yourself, en-fucking-joy, you soulless, non-gifting-bearing bastard. (This was mentioned in the invites she sent out to all the ladies in the castle. It's possible that it's literally all the ladies in the castle as Lila doesn't care whether they're friends with Faye or not. No boys got invites unless they were verbal. The dress code of "fancy but down to fuck" was also on the invitations...)

Tucked in the back is a partitioned off banquet for the VIP party and once inside the ropes, you get a stamp on your hand so the drinks are free for the rest of the night -- and the drink of the night is a Bailey's Comet. Because it's on fire. Drink, enjoy, be merry. Do things. Save room for the cake.

And if anyone is worried about a bunch of drunk knights trying to drive home, Lila rented a handful of rooms at a nearby hotel because when she plans shit, she plans it well.

So what's your story? What did you do before working for "the institute?"

Well, first I was in college ... and then I was pretty much a master thief. And I did some field medic work. [NONE OF IT IS ... NOT TRUE?]

What'd you go to college for? [Maybe she went for medicine? Pretty sure you can't go to become a thief...]

Biology. I was pre-med.

So what made you turn to a life of crime instead?

Boredom, mostly. And getting into med school is killer, you have better luck winning the lottery.

Are you any good? [At thievery. At med school shit. At anything. Faye just wants to be impressed okay.]

[for a second was was worried that she'd have to out herself for being more of an assistant thief than the real deal, but wallets are small potatoes. she's down.] Yeah, okay! Let's do it.

[Anything more complicated would mean probably leaving the bar and lol no. Faye isn't leaving yet.]

Alright, so how's it work? I've never stolen anything. I just usually take things right in front of people and set them on fire if they whine about it.

Um, well, stealing people's wallets and stuff is about distraction. If we're working together, one of us — you [she points] — would distract our mark. Talk to them. Get flirty, spill something on them, ask to dance, whatever. Then, while they're busy paying attention to you, I'd grab the goods.

Distraction. Got it. I can be good at that. [She's probably going to take her top off, jfc.] Anyone look like a good mark? What about her? [She points out Kate Beckett across the room.]

Hm ... [she looks over towards kate.] Sure! She's been drinking, too, so that's probably a plus. Are you ready?

Totally. [She's not really. She will just make this up as she goes. NOTHING COULD GO WRONG.]

I got this. [So she walks across the bar and waits until she's in clear view of Kate before she 'trips' and lets out a very convincing wail of agony (bluff 25).

[Kate may have had ... a little too much to drink. Just a smidge. Because when she sees this clear situation of distress that Faye is in, she falls for it, hook, line and sinker (sense motive crit fail). She startles to her feet, stumbling closer to Faye, concern written all over her face.]

Oh my God, are you okay?

[MEANWHILE, astrid sneeeeaks on over (move silently 15) like the sneaky snake she is, and ... possibly successfully lifts kate's wallet? (sleight of hand 17) clearly she is a professional here.]

Did I break it? [Faye plays up the drunk girl act well. Because she's actually drunk.]

[Kate should know better, should be paying attention, but she doesn't catch Astrid behind her (spot 14). She's just focused that much on Faye. One hand moves to support her shoulder.]

Can you put weight on it?

[as astrid backs away from the two of them, she gives faye a thumbs up. ALL CLEAR, WALLET ACQUIRED.]

[As soon as Astrid gives the all clear, Faye straightens and gives a smile, standing on both feet with no issue.]
