Formerly a two story barn, the bar Lila rented for Faye's birthday has an Art Deco theme that continues through the building, with each space having been given a contemporary twist. The lavish interiors create a feeling of forgotten decadence. Each room has its own distinct and unique ambience, all complementing one another yet reflecting different moods, depending on the feeling of the moment, flowing through to the secluded garden.

The man at the door has been notified to waive the cover charge for anyone that comes bearing a gift, but if you don't come bearing gifts... don't expect Lila to feel pity for you. You're paying that cover charge yourself, en-fucking-joy, you soulless, non-gifting-bearing bastard. (This was mentioned in the invites she sent out to all the ladies in the castle. It's possible that it's literally all the ladies in the castle as Lila doesn't care whether they're friends with Faye or not. No boys got invites unless they were verbal. The dress code of "fancy but down to fuck" was also on the invitations...)

Tucked in the back is a partitioned off banquet for the VIP party and once inside the ropes, you get a stamp on your hand so the drinks are free for the rest of the night -- and the drink of the night is a Bailey's Comet. Because it's on fire. Drink, enjoy, be merry. Do things. Save room for the cake.

And if anyone is worried about a bunch of drunk knights trying to drive home, Lila rented a handful of rooms at a nearby hotel because when she plans shit, she plans it well.

[ cut to HOTEL ROOM??? max shuts the door behind them, turning to glance around as he drops the keycards on a side table. ] Not bad, I guess.

It's nice. Pretty. [ she crosses the room to look out the window and gasps quietly before she sweeps the curtains open. ] Beautiful view. London looks so pretty at night.

[ he comes up slowly behind her, looking out over her shoulder. ] From up here, maybe. [ he does not sound convinced. but then he'll... turn his attention to her. ] It doesn't quite hold up as well from up close. Unlike some things.

[ oh. max. a blush rushes up her cheeks and she ducks her head, smiling. she turns slightly, hands lifting to curl around the collar of his jacket gently, more to reel him in than keep him there. but she goes slow so he knows what she is doing. so he can prepare himself. and then she's kissing him. ...nat 20 kissing. girl just knows how to say goodbye, tbh. best sort of gf. ]

[ look at his impressive will save ;; against... freaking out. not, fortunately, against wanting to feverishly make out with her face, apparently. and with a 16 check it's pretty hella nice on both sides. his hands slide around her waist as he pulls her closer, and then eventually one hand moves up to slide up her neck and caress her jaw, lingering as he touches her skin. ] Lis...

[ she hums a questioning little noise, but she doesn't want to pull away to actually verbalize the "what?" implied in the little noise. once he is kissing her, her arms curl around his neck, standing on her tiptoes even in her heels. ]

[ he nuzzles his face against hers for a moment, eyes closed, but then his mouth slips to her jaw, and his hands slide up under the back of her shirt, slowly. ]

[ aww yeah. lissa isn't fighting this, let's be perfectly clear, here. she shivers slightly as his fingers brush her skin, her own hands creeping up into his fluffy hair. so soft, such conditioned. very casually, she steps out of her heels, brushing them behind her like get out of the way, but staying on her tiptoes because she is really liking where his mouth is at the moment. a+ tag. ]

[ in one smooth motion, he lifts that shirt right up and off from her, casting it aside, and drawing back just the tiniest bit to look down at her. IS THIS OK is half of his expression while the other is... desire stirring as his eyes drag down her. ]

[ beneath it, he wears a simple white button up shirt, the collar undone and somewhat rumpled. His fingers dig into the skin of her waist as he pulls her into another kiss, this time, backing up toward the bed. ]

[ slowly working on those buttons, lissa seems eager to be led but she stumbles slightly, too distracted by kissing him to remember silly things like how to walk or breathe. but once her bearings return, her fingers continue their mission to divest him of his remaining clothes. ]

[ as they hit the actual bed, whatever hesitation he had seems to vanish as her hands strip his shirt off, and he starts helping her to tear the rest of his own off as his kisses take on an almost violent need, yanking her around to push her down on the bed and climbing on top of her as he works on her own remaining clothes. ]
