Unlike the grandiose nature of the squiring ceremony each Knight undergoes upon their initial entrance into the Knighthood, the graduation to Full Knight status takes place in a much more intimate affair, between the Knight, their mentor, invited friends, and the members of the sect to which they will be inducted. There's no pompous music, no stolid rank and file, no elaborate march.

Astrid's invitees are given seats of honor at the front of the ranks of the Dragon's Light members - a comparatively small sect, and Fred Jr., Wynn, and the incredibly stoic Sir Solace, section head of the Light, wait up at the front of the room for Astrid to approach them, but the attitude of the ceremony is much more relaxed, full of smiles and light conversation on all sides. Of course, when Wynn speaks, people still hush. It's just how he rolls.

"Approach and kneel, Sir Madchen."

If you'd given me more time to plan, I could've made a knighting registry. Is that a thing? Do people do that?

Can I get a re-knighting? Oh, if I become a Dragon's Claw, do I get another one? I can't believe you let this opportunity slip through my fingers.

You know, I'm not actually sure. There hasn't been a new Dragon's Claw made since I stepped in. They must be waiting on me.

Ever ever. I guess he bent the rule for the Ellisons and then immediately regretted that one when Tia lost her dad while she was still so young.

Probably sucks more that they do most of their missions alone too.

That wouldn't be so bad. You wouldn't have to humor anyone else's shitty ideas, you could just go do your own thing.
