Unlike the grandiose nature of the squiring ceremony each Knight undergoes upon their initial entrance into the Knighthood, the graduation to Full Knight status takes place in a much more intimate affair, between the Knight, their mentor, invited friends, and the members of the sect to which they will be inducted. There's no pompous music, no stolid rank and file, no elaborate march.

Astrid's invitees are given seats of honor at the front of the ranks of the Dragon's Light members - a comparatively small sect, and Fred Jr., Wynn, and the incredibly stoic Sir Solace, section head of the Light, wait up at the front of the room for Astrid to approach them, but the attitude of the ceremony is much more relaxed, full of smiles and light conversation on all sides. Of course, when Wynn speaks, people still hush. It's just how he rolls.

[Aedan's always utilizing opportunities to give gifts to win points with people. Shit is canon. But in Astrid's case, it's more of a joke gift ... whether he is actually in on the joke or not was anyone's guess.

He comes bearing some legit gauze and bandages since she's a doctor-chan and she had to resort to using his shirt when Vi was getting minor surgery. Look it seemed necessary and useful. He's the most thoughtful ok.]
