Now officially Knighted, Vi exchanges her ceremonial armor for a wedding gown, and the guests head into London to gather at the Chelsea Physic Garden.  The evening is warm and clear, and the flowers in full bloom, chairs set up on the main lawn with name tags on them for people to find their seat.  Gentle Elvish music plays everyone in, and at the front of stands an arbor covered in wisteria.  It's a remarkably peaceful setting, enough to dispel further some of the grimness of the past few days and create an atmosphere of smiles and warmth.    It seems to reinforce what Luthir has been telling Vi all along: that maybe now more than ever, this is the sort of thing they need, in order to remember what they're all fighting for.

[She knows Vi's trying to cheer her up, to prove to her that things might not be as bad as they seem, but Elena knows better. Or thinks she does, it's hard to tell.

What people say and what they think are not always the same. It's Vi they're talking to, someone who loves her, and that's not going to be the person they voice their concerns to.

But she's not going to disagree with her, because it's her wedding day, and she's not going to fight about this. She's fine. She just has to convince everyone else.]

Just, if you get sick? Expect chicken soup from a can. You don't want me to try anything harder than that.

[ actually... she wouldn't eat it bc vegetarian, but it's the thought that counts really. her little boo has her back. dropping a kiss on the top of her head, she moves back. ] I should go find my husband and do wife type things, like, I dunno, make him make me a sandwich.
