Now officially Knighted, Vi exchanges her ceremonial armor for a wedding gown, and the guests head into London to gather at the Chelsea Physic Garden.  The evening is warm and clear, and the flowers in full bloom, chairs set up on the main lawn with name tags on them for people to find their seat.  Gentle Elvish music plays everyone in, and at the front of stands an arbor covered in wisteria.  It's a remarkably peaceful setting, enough to dispel further some of the grimness of the past few days and create an atmosphere of smiles and warmth.    It seems to reinforce what Luthir has been telling Vi all along: that maybe now more than ever, this is the sort of thing they need, in order to remember what they're all fighting for.

[ she watches closely as myri's expression shifts, but she manages not to let hers fall as well ] I'm fairly certain that Finnick wants whatever it is that will make you happy, Myri.

[She realizes that he's being a downer again and puts a happier face on.] Oh yes- I'm quite certain that's true. It's just hard to imagine that sort of life with everything that's been happening. I'm sure we'll find the time to discuss such things later.

Plenty of time. [ but she got a fuck million sense motive ... or 34, so she can tell it's all a front. either way, that's myri's prerogative, and she's not gonna push her. ] I'll admit, it is difficult to imagine going from all this to something so... settled.

Vi and Luthir found a way, despite everything. If they can find a way to have this, to be happy, then I'm sure there's a way for the rest of us to find it as well. We just have to try to hold onto hope.

[ normally she'd agree, but lumping her into the hypothetical, as well, causes her to look skeptical ] I suppose it's hard to know what the future may hold for any of us, although for some of us, it may take more than just hope.
