Now officially Knighted, Vi exchanges her ceremonial armor for a wedding gown, and the guests head into London to gather at the Chelsea Physic Garden.  The evening is warm and clear, and the flowers in full bloom, chairs set up on the main lawn with name tags on them for people to find their seat.  Gentle Elvish music plays everyone in, and at the front of stands an arbor covered in wisteria.  It's a remarkably peaceful setting, enough to dispel further some of the grimness of the past few days and create an atmosphere of smiles and warmth.    It seems to reinforce what Luthir has been telling Vi all along: that maybe now more than ever, this is the sort of thing they need, in order to remember what they're all fighting for.

[That name she knows. TY Elena.] As in - [No Rose. Do not call him 'the guy who was on trial for shooting his GF or whatever on National Television. (Will Save 20 total.)] Elena, has mentioned you. She's my best friend? She kinda keeps me in the loop.

The Knights helped me much in ... the events of last year. And the trial that followed.

[Yeah that tight smile that Rose is sporting? Somebody is going to get bitched at later.]

Sounds like... [ Awkward. Turtle. ] Elena... was worried for you. We talked during the whole... Trial... thing.

I was very fortunate, to have the support from them all that I did. I am still amazed at how much they put aside for me.

[littledhampir]

Why? [She shook her head, then explained.] I just mean - why does it surprise you that they'd support you? I heard about what happened... I'd have been more surprised had they left you to be honest.

[romanticidal]

They are facing many dangerous men and women, who only made more progress for each moment they spent aiding me. I am not one of you, and yet they fought for me as if I were.

[littledhampir]

Because it was the right thing to do. [Yeah that sounded like a 'duh'.] If you screw people over in the name of doing the right thing? You're not any better than the ones we're trying to stop.

[romanticidal]

[ he just stares at her for a long moment

Don't suppose I can have that in writing can I? [Grinning like the oh so oblivious idiot that she is.] Words I don't hear very often.

Not the autograph I am used to signing, but-- [ sure he'll scrawl it on a napkin and sign it for you :) YOU ARE RIGHT ]

[Rose practically beams back at him. She has no appreciation whatsoever for the fact that she could make bulk cash by selling this on ebay.

She's Rose. She doesn't even know what ebay is okay (Knowledge 5).]

I'll frame this. Hang it on my wall and everything. [Only half joking because no really. She'd probably do that now, just because she said she would.]

Yeah I bet you say that to all the girls you sign napkins for. [Laughing - which hurts so much because wow after this conversation there will be no laughing ever for a while ;; ]

[Still grinning, her chuckle trails off, Rose smoothing the napkin out.] Now I just have to convince people I didn't steal this from somebody else.

Raf gets treated to the rare sight of Rose showing all her teeth as her whole face lights up with her smile and laughter.]

Right now I feel like I could ask for an impromptu concert and you'd do that too - [Tone teasing.] But I'll save that for next time I'm right about something.

[And maybe between now and then Rose will google him and learn a few of his songs.]
