[ It seems that Wynn was hoping for Sir Mark Sandazhard to reveal his true identity, and to lead the charge against Dimitris Sarandis' tyrannical hold over the island he was born to rule. He was not disappointed, and Prince Marcus Andres stands poised to lead the group of Knights who he's worked beside for two years, to confront Sarandis, save their friend Kat, and search the castle dungeon for the captive Dragon's Claw, Sir Thomas Bancroft.
Before they attempt to answer the castle, however, it's time to reunite the Prince with his childhood friends on the Isle, who had long held out hope that he was still alive, including his once-betrothed, Countess Lara Tamon. Their first task will be to convince Lara to make a risky attempt to draw Kat out of the castle.
The fate of their captured allies, and the future of Andres Isle, lie in their hands. ]

[ They probably would, but this isn’t their fight. This is the detour. The last thing she wants to do is summon half the divine powers she knows down when she’s feeling insecure, and not have them available for a quick favor when they’re really in danger. Disgruntled by the logic he provides, she turns to face out the window again. ]
I failed. Don’t you get it? If I died. If Faith became the new Slayer, it means I failed. What happens when I fail all of you and it’s not just my life on the line?

[A beat. He rolls his eyes.] Most of the things that matter.
[He leans on the armrest, getting as much in her space as the airline furniture will allow him.] Well, you probably won't get your ass kicked, I'll tell you that much. [The pathetic attempt at humor is cast aside and his expression goes grave.] I can't answer that, Buffy. I can't tell you that you won't fail. But I know a few things. Faith's not the one who's looking after Myri. Faith's not the one who still thinks Elena has a chance to be saved. Faith didn't talk Rafael down off that bridge. Faith's not the one who went out hunting demons long before Sehanine told her she was a champion. Faith didn't take down Iscariot agents and assassins without her strength. And Faith is not the reason why I haven't said fuck this and gone off to deal with this situation on my own.
So Thomas and Kat are still trapped. You saved Rafael's life. You're a hero to every person who knows you. You've never stopped fighting, even when you've lost enough to get discouraged about it. You're stubborn, Buffy- maybe even more stubborn than me. So if you fail? If we all went down together somehow... None of us are gonna be thinking about how this might have gone better with some other Slayer.
We're gonna be thinking, "I'm glad we were fighting with Buffy up 'til the end."

There are a lot of things she’s not sure about. What Dean had said about Lucifer, for starters. Whether or not they’ll even come back from Andres. What the state of their mission will be if they do. Even where she stands with Rafael, and don’t think she’s oblivious to the fact that Des name dropped him multiple times, or the reason why Des would do that.
What she is sure about is that when they touch down, she’ll be standing with her friends. And they’re going to be doing good, the work that she’s meant to do.
Slowly, she blinks back her tears, turning to rest her head on Des’s shoulder, leaning against him and settling in for the flight. ]
