[ The two groups tasked to deal with the denizens of the Shadow Village arrive on the bank of the river that bisects the capitol city of Andres in half.  The river slopes down from the woods and city around it, meaning that they're afforded a bit of concealment here, unless anyone stood at the top and looked down.  At this hour of the night, however, there's no one around.   Dovan grumbles a bit about 'blasted magic' as they shake off the disorienting sense of vertigo, while Koraith waits for Belle to confirm they've arrived in the right place.  She pats Gold on the arm as she pulls out her phone, and moments later, she nods to the others in confirmation.

The water laps gently nearby against the rocks, and in the distance, a bridge is visible that links the segregated Shadow village with its thatched roof houses, to the city proper, which seems lined with wealthy manor homes.  ]

Do you think that really matters at this point?

[That's more directed towards Lydia, because Sarandis's men are here. Being covert isn't as important as efficiency and keeping everyone safe, and he already knows that at least she can't be relied on to do that on her own.

Then back to the rest of the group:]

We should still try and fan out though - cover more ground. Just try and keep a member of the group somewhere you can see them at all times. That way if you run into trouble the rest of us don't have to go far.

[Realizing that David and Lydia were likely going to get stuck in this alpha dog loop, Stiles slips his hand through the crook in Lydia's elbow and guides her away towards another row of houses.]

If you need to find me, just follow the girlish scream. Lydia might be yelling too.

[Jokes! He's got them! Lightening the mood? Maybe? Anyway, he's heading off now. GONNA GO KNOCK ON THE FIRST DOOR HE SEES.]

[ She looks sharply over at Stiles and pulls her arm free from his grip, but moves with him towards the row of houses all the same, picking up a purposeful stride quickly and overtaking him. Marching up the walk to a front door, she begins banging on it with a fist.

And if she doesn't look over her shoulder or acknowledge Stiles, it's probably bitterness at his presumed siding with David during all this. ]

[David sighs as he lets them go, before knocking on the door closest to him, ready to try and help move as many people as he can.]
