[ The two groups tasked to deal with the denizens of the Shadow Village arrive on the bank of the river that bisects the capitol city of Andres in half.  The river slopes down from the woods and city around it, meaning that they're afforded a bit of concealment here, unless anyone stood at the top and looked down.  At this hour of the night, however, there's no one around.   Dovan grumbles a bit about 'blasted magic' as they shake off the disorienting sense of vertigo, while Koraith waits for Belle to confirm they've arrived in the right place.  She pats Gold on the arm as she pulls out her phone, and moments later, she nods to the others in confirmation.

The water laps gently nearby against the rocks, and in the distance, a bridge is visible that links the segregated Shadow village with its thatched roof houses, to the city proper, which seems lined with wealthy manor homes.  ]

They've all been taken inside. [ nyna wipes blood off her ancestral blade, and tosses hair out of her eyes, eyeing the halfling and nodding towards the doors. ] I think it may be too late, for some.

[ belle does a passable job of disguising the concern in her eyes (bluff... 13 ahaha), sort of. her fingers linger on his sleeve, turning him gently towards her, as she quietly urges: ] We should ... should go inside, with the others.

Well, too late doesn't mean as much as it used to, right? Right mix of super strength magic and you can zap 'em right back to life, easy as pie! [Not so helpful when Taradiddle is way too low level to do any of that. She shakes her head and keeps moving.] I'll just... go heal up the not dead ones for now.

[Gold nods at Belle, still stunned, and just barely seeing the concern (sense motive 14). He swallows hard and takes her hand] Indeed... We should hear from the rest of the knights soon.

Ay, lass. There's one of these island folks who took a nasty fall at the start. [ dovan sadly pulls open the temple door for them to head on in, glancing back over his shoulder at the group. ]
