[ Christos is a wee bit protective over one of the stealth jets, possibly because he might actually own it himself.  We just don't know.  Either way, his team gets to ride in one of them, and fuck if he's gonna bring any other teams along on the way.  They fly silently over the sleeping city, and he lands with a 22 pilot check right on the roof of the guardhouse itself.  :) ]

[Bo moves to try and meet the guard closest to her, intent on pressing a hand to any bit of exposed skin to use her powers of suggestion, but she...crit failed. Awesome.]

[Don't worry because while Bo cops a feel from guard #1, Aedan beelines it to the second guard that is still standing and proceeds to swing his blades at the air (attack 14 damage 11, and attack 9, damage 9 but I don't actually expect either of those to hit...). We got this, guys.]

[ han manages to down one of the two, leaving only the guard that bo is trying to accost over here, who manages to grab her as she nears, and pull her in front of himself as a shield, lifting his gun to her head. crit fails are bad, bo. ] Nobody move or she gets it!

[ abigail blanches, eyes widening as she ducks behind the edge of the roof, back pressed against the ledge as she fruitlessly fights off a panic attack. lmao sorry y'all, she's too busy having serial killer flashbacks to be of any use to you now. ]

[ it takes the last shred of control abigail has to unclench her white knuckled fingers from the rifle and put it down before she curls in on herself, panic attack taking over as her breath speeds up like she's hyperventilating. it's too much for her to handle, she feels like her chest is caving in. her fingers are tingling, all she can hear is the roar of blood pounding in her ears, vision clouded with tears and spots. she wants to run away. every part of her wants to run away, but she's stuck, trapped in reliving her father's last act and remembering the feel of blood choking her, feels like it's choking her now. ]

After pulling his fucking shiv out of the guard, who slumps to the ground, Aedan looks over at Bo with concern.]

[Han slips his pistol into its holster and reaches out, grabbing Abigail's shoulder. This is not a good time to panic. Just because these soldiers are down doesn't mean they're out of the woods yet, and Han needs to be focusing on things other than keeping her from walking off a roof or whatever. He texts Bo GET BACK HERE because he's pretty sure she'll be better at dealing with this than he is. She has that magic and everything, and right now his main idea is to put his blaster on stun and knock her out.

....I'm not sure what you're supposed to roll for dealing with a panic attack, but Han got a crit fail, so he's gonna slap her in the face to try and jolt her out of it (atk 16, subdual dmg 6). BO COME ON WE NEED YOU.]

[ it's probably the worst course of action imaginable. especially with abigail hobbs. abigail who, contrarily, associates murder with self-defense and life because it's guaranteed to work.

han grabs her shoulder and she's already too delicate to be thinking clearly but then he slaps her and she just reacts, luckily without any of the weapons she has stashed in her bag and on her person. so lucky she can't reach her knife from her curled up position. but she does shove at him, trying to push him away (str 17), before her hand lifts to cover the stinging of her cheek. ] Don't touch me!

[She smirks over at Aedan.]

[Bo gets the text and races her ass back upstairs, coming through the door just as there Abigail shouts at Han.

It's probably good she didn't see that.]

[She runs over and crouches down in front of her.]

[Han raises his hands and backs off, more than happy to let Bo handle it. This is why he texted her, after all. Though honestly, her yelling at him and shoving him had been a lot less scary than her freezing up like that. Still, he's more than happy to give them space.]

Fight ended and she just panicked.

[ she still looks panicky so han hit the nail right on the head, but she seems to calm down a little just at bo's words. or maybe it's that through the tears in her eyes and with her head pounding and fuzzy, for a second bo didn't look like bo but another brunette who is very skilled at calming abigail down.

which might explain why she lurches forward to throw her arms around bo's neck in relief that, surprise, she's not dead. ]
