CLOSED ♔ knighting ceremonies
WHO || Wynn, Dovan, Koraith, Hasmed, Lis'sa, Solace, graduating squires, various members of the Knighthood, invited guests [closed]
WHAT || Full Knighting ceremonies for various squires
WHERE || Knight's Headquarters, the Great Hall
WHEN || Late September BACKDATED
HOW || Actionspam
Unlike the grandiose nature of the squiring ceremony each Knight undergoes upon their initial entrance into the Knighthood, the graduation to Full Knight status takes place in a much more intimate affair, between the Knight, their mentor, invited friends, and the members of the sect to which they will be inducted. There's no pompous music, no stolid rank and file, no elaborate march.
The Knight's new section head, Wynn, and their mentor Knight wait up at the front of the room for their approach, but the attitude of the ceremony is much more relaxed, full of smiles and light conversation on all sides. Of course, when Wynn speaks, people still hush. It's just how he rolls.
"Please kneel."
((Given the large amount of promotions occurring, we will not be doing individual posts/parties for each. Instead, please there are top comments on this post for each section's ceremonies, and each section's parties. Feel free to make Drakenet posts or plurks establishing your character's invited guests, and tagging into as much as you would like/handwaving as much as you'd like.))

I'm going to go out on a limb here and bet that no one actually taught you how to be argumentative.
[That shit just comes naturally.]

Hmm, but maybe if someone actually taught you, you'd be able to hold your own for a change.

[ She opted for taking it as a masturbation metaphor. Lips pursed, she nods perhaps a big vigorously because yep that sounds exactly like Stiles, and then she's turning her attention away, grabbing a champagne flute. ]

If we're going to be working together, you could always give me some pointers.

[ Spoken sharply, as she lifts her chin to look at him, narrowing her gaze a bit. ]

[ She does a good job of feigning her disinterest, sighing and glancing aside. ]

You've been acting weird lately.
[because that will definitely help with Lydia being defensive. Yep.]

Have I?
[ She doesn't actually want him to elaborate, but it beats gratifying that with a real response. ]

Been to any of the other parties?

[ And given that they're simultaneous, she's not bailing on this for something worse. No matter who is graduating. ]

I don't know. I just assume you know everyone and might have a reason to make an appearance at another one.

I was thinking about swinging by the Hide. Not really invited but I don't think they would notice me crashing.

[ Her gaze narrows like hmmmm no thanks. But she will take it as a cue to excuse herself to go mingle elsewhere. ]
