Between the various members of the wedding party, everything comes together just in time for the big event. Within a few weeks' time, the day has finally arrived. Whether they've met or spoken to the bride and groom, the entire isle of Andres is invited to this event. Cool colors are prominent throughout the ceremony set up on the Andres coast. From the bridesmaids dresses to the flower arrangements to the beautiful blue sky and sea, it's a very calming atmosphere.

Once the ceremony is finished, everyone is invited to the reception, held at the Andres palace. There's food, drink, and music. Tables are available, but with such an open guest list, there's no assigned seating- other than the main table up front where the wedding party and their guests will sit last supper style.

I thought it would be nice for everyone to have something more pleasant to remember Andres for. Not just me. [But yes- it wa also for her.]

I see you didn't bring a date this time.

Zarad's busy in Manhattan. He promises to send a wedding gift, though. [Flippantly. He's accustomed to his long-distance relationship, and sure it would be nice to have him here, but them's the breaks.]

Well, let him know he's greatly missed. [She just wants to see all her babies happy and in love with their sweeties okay.]

How have you been? I haven't seen you much with all the planning going on.

[Weddings are work, yo.]

I'll do that. [His expression falters a bit at the next question.]

I went back to London to see what I could dig up on where we go from here. [He doesn't want to spoil her wedding by mentioning half that digging recently has become "where in the world is Rafael Sandeigo, because he's ignoring us."] Figured I'd be of better use doing that than trying to rebuild Andres.

[witchwoman]

[Maybe talk of work is better suited for another day, but a spot of 24 sees that shift in his expression and she draws her brows together, slightly concerned.]

Oh? What were you able to find?

[nothingsodivine]

You really wanna talk work at your wedding? [deflection~] We've dedicated three years of our lives to this case and you've dedicated most of that three years to being madly in love with Finnick. I, for one, am all for letting the latter eclipse the former for once.

[witchwoman]

Alright, you make a fine point. [She's okay with this deflection.]

But don't think I won't ask you another day. [probably not tomorrow. She will probably be having copious amounts of marital relations tbh.]

[nothingsodivine]

It's only the case that consumes our entire lives. I think we've had enough secrets about it.

[especially after mark and dumage. talisman mission needs full disclosure. and jesus.]

[witchwoman]

[She nods a little, glancing around at the party before bringing her attention back to him.]

You're right. No sense lingering in those kind of thoughts tonight.

[There will be time for it later. All she wants to do right now is celebrate the happiest day of her life with the people she loves.]

[nothingsodivine]

Nope. They'll be there tomorrow... or a week from tomorrow. [He gives her a little spin.] There's the honeymoon to consider.

[witchwoman]

[She lets out a laugh as he spins her.]

I don't think we've even thought that far ahead. Fitting in this much was the main concern. I'm not sure where we would even go...

[She would miss you all too much, frankly.]

Yeah, the whole traveling everywhere aspect of this case sort of sours people on the idea of traveling. [and he pulls her back into step. look at this fancy footwork. god.] But most people go to Hawaii. Or Panama.

[witchwoman]

We'll have to see if we're able to get away at all.

[Hawaii sounds nice actually. She will need to talk to Finnick about it. And Wynn for permission to jet off for a weekend, probably.]

Do you think you can manage to keep yourself in one piece if I go?

[nothingsodivine]

You should be asking Buffy that. I'm proving surprisingly capable of not coming close to death for a guy who's used to be blithely suicidal. [Only Des can say things like that with a hint of nonchalance.] I'll be fine. I think all that London fog is fucking up Finnick's tan, anyway.

[witchwoman]

I can't imagine that you all could find too much trouble if we slipped away for a weekend...

[Slowly convincing herself that a honeymoon sounds like a good plan.]

We can definitely be allowed unsupervised for a whole weekend. We'll even get Archer a padded room. With hookers.

[witchwoman]

[She shakes her head, laughing.]

I'll talk to him about it. It would be nice to get away for a few days while we have the chance.

[...because the mission is on pause. Not bc of pregnancy. Nope. Not at all.]

Yeah, pretty soon we'll be in desperate need of a cleric again. No rest for the healers. [He shakes his head right back.] I'm serious. You need the vacation, Little Bit.

[witchwoman]

I'm not the only one. I'm sure if you thought very hard, you could find someone to spend a weekend away with.

[Teases him about his boyfriend basically]

Well, I'm not gonna lie and say the thought hasn't crossed my mind.... [dorky smile. hahaha twitterpated doesn't cover it.]

[witchwoman]

[Myri just likes seeing her people happy. She's learning (slowly but surely) that finding that happiness may not involve being superglued to each other. But seeing the way Des lights up at the mere idea of taking a vacation with Zarad? Well, she can't deny what would make him happiest.]

I'm glad you have him. I'm glad you have a reason to smile like that.

Me too. [He's still dancing, even though the song has changed, but being distracted by his derpiness has brought him down to something a little less fantastic (dance 14).] I'm crazy about him, Myri.

[witchwoman]

I know you are. And it makes me so happy to see. You deserve that happiness, Des.

[nothingsodivine]

[he slows down a bit, falling into a simple rhythmic sway rather than an actual dance.] You know when this is over, I... I'm gonna go with him. Wherever that is. I mean no one really believed I was gonna stick around, anyway, but... now I have a reason. That's still a ways off, though. You haven't gotten rid of me just yet.

[witchwoman]

I know, Des. [She says quietly, glancing down and nodding.] I'm not... looking forward to the day we have to say goodbye, but I know well enough not to try to convince you to stay. But I would hope that once you walk away, it wouldn't mean that we would never see you again.
