Between the various members of the wedding party, everything comes together just in time for the big event. Within a few weeks' time, the day has finally arrived. Whether they've met or spoken to the bride and groom, the entire isle of Andres is invited to this event. Cool colors are prominent throughout the ceremony set up on the Andres coast. From the bridesmaids dresses to the flower arrangements to the beautiful blue sky and sea, it's a very calming atmosphere.

Once the ceremony is finished, everyone is invited to the reception, held at the Andres palace. There's food, drink, and music. Tables are available, but with such an open guest list, there's no assigned seating- other than the main table up front where the wedding party and their guests will sit last supper style.

[Elena knows who you are too, Lissa. It seems like she's starting to collect everyone that Rose has hated or had falling outs with. Maybe because she joined that club.]

Thanks. [She gestures toward the other girl, completely aware that there's a very decent chance that Rose can see this conversation through Lissa's eyes.] I like your dress. I don't think I could pull that color off.

[ it's probably because now they feel like they can actually talk to elena. lissa is also 100% aware rose could be spying, but lissa is so completely aware of that fact literally all of the time that she's stopped trying to adjust her life to suit. it's maddening to realize you never have privacy, ever, and that there is nothing you can do to stop it.

she smiles gratefully at elena's compliment, however. ] I'm sure you could, you'd just have to stay out of the sun for... [ glancing at elena's perfect tan. ] ...ever.

[The corner of her mouth quirks up, amused.]

Well, changing my skin tone isn't all that hard, really.

[Watch her go from insanely pale back to her normal tan over the course of a couple of brief moments. It's...probably pretty creepy.]

But it would still be odd, right?

[ her nose wrinkles slightly, but she seems fascinated by the change. lissa knows her spirit abilities can force people to see her differently, as a different person, but she doesn't recall being on the other side of it. and by all accounts, elena isn't forcing her mind to see the change the way lissa does, but simply physically changing right before her eyes. ]

Well it's not incredibly flattering with your hair and eyes... you look much better the way you are.

[She'll take that reaction. Better than expected, really.]

See, I've made my point.

[ laughing: ] I can see why you're in the Dragon's Tongue.

[She gently shrugs her shoulders with a smile.]

We all have our talents. [She tilts her head.] So what's yours?

I'm a cleric. [ she can do other stuff, but it seems unimportant in comparison. and she can't actually do anything at all right now thanks to her anti-depressants. y...ay? ] That's how I met Myri.

Dragon's Light, then?

[Her expression is approving.]

Everyone knows we could always use more of those.

Yes. I'm hoping Astrid will agree to teach me basic non-magical first aid as well, but Solace has been a blessing in teaching me what I can actually do.

Did you go to Andres, then?

[She assumes they needed plenty of healers for the shit they pulled that day.]

Yes, of course. [ she'd never stay behind if people were in danger. and no one stopped her. :D ] I wasn't with the other clerics, but I stayed behind to help with the aftermath.

I still can't believe Wynn actually did it. I mean, come on, what were the chances that after months we'd pick the same freaking day to show up there.

I'm not so sure about all that, but I'll take it. It's the only reason I'm even still here.

[She's pretty sure she'd be dead or worse, tbh.]

[Elena isn't sure how to feel about that.]

Thanks. [She after that, she quickly deflects.] By the sounds of things, everyone got pretty lucky.

For the most part. [ she smiles a little. wan, and glances around to find max. ] I should probably go rescue my boyfriend. It was nice to finally meet you properly.

[And then she gives her a slight smile before she walks away.]
