Between the various members of the wedding party, everything comes together just in time for the big event. Within a few weeks' time, the day has finally arrived. Whether they've met or spoken to the bride and groom, the entire isle of Andres is invited to this event. Cool colors are prominent throughout the ceremony set up on the Andres coast. From the bridesmaids dresses to the flower arrangements to the beautiful blue sky and sea, it's a very calming atmosphere.

Once the ceremony is finished, everyone is invited to the reception, held at the Andres palace. There's food, drink, and music. Tables are available, but with such an open guest list, there's no assigned seating- other than the main table up front where the wedding party and their guests will sit last supper style.

[She'd be concerned about alcohol apparently being a necessity for this if it was anyone but Archer. But still, something tells her she might want it on her part anyway.

She's going to slip her arm through his as she heads off in that direction, because she's decided you're going to escort her. Don't make a scene, k?]

[No scenes necessary. He's actually pretty happy to have the extra support. A walk might have been an awful idea... He's quiet until they're seated, and have their beverages in hand.]

So... Here's the deal, Elena. [He reaches his arm out, and sort of traces a big bubble in the air around him] Because, we've been over this, but apparently it needs repeating. Zone of Danger, Elena. It's part of the Sterling Archer package.

[How many drinks did you have, Archer?

She takes a sip of hers, leveling an odd stare at him. Her wisdom roll was pitiful, so he's already lost her.]

I thought this was going to be about you being mad at me.

[isisagent]

Elena, I take week long jaunts to the Bahamas to ruin new marriages when I need time to work things out, OK? I'm like, 96% sure that whatever you ran off and did was less screwed up, though I'd like to be invited next time.

No, this is about the quite literal zone of danger physically attached to me. I think nearly bleeding to death via homemade explosives was somehow the safest situation I was in on this island. Including tonight, as I intend to drink myself to liver failure.

...So you were mad because I didn't, what? Take you with me?

[That actually...makes more sense than it should. Only you, Archer.

And Rose, I guess.]

So, then, you're worried about what might happen to me if I'm around you or something? [Her brows furrow as she looks at him, confused.] I don't know if you've noticed, but I don't exactly attract rainbows and butterflies, Archer. Danger is kind of what we do.

"A", yes, you're damn right I'm mad I was not invited along on the secret mission. Duh and/or hello.

[He takes a sip of the Whiskey.]

And "C" Uh... No I've both seen and felt the impact of your skills, Elena. [He grabs at where the bad rocket touched him.] What I'm worried about is the world's supply of small violins running out. Because I bought them all to play, every time you overreact to one of us spraining an ankle.

["B" was the whiskey.]

And before you ask, yes I would need a new one every time. They're not very durable. They don't make those things like they used to.

Well, I'm sorry. [She thinks. Honestly, if anyone would have been up for her insane plan, it probably would have been him.

But she also doesn't think she could have trusted him not to pull a gun on her escape partner. Nor could he evade the knights the way they did.

Her eyes narrow slightly.]

Myri and Spike were kidnapped and tortured. Thomas was murdered. You took a rocket to the chest. I don't think there is such a thing as overreacting to any of those things.

[isisagent]

[He has a +3 to disguise, thank you very much.]

[He echoes her words;] "Danger is kind of what we do." [He smirks, but he's got more to say] Seriously though, where do you get off feeling guilty for me getting myself hit by a rocket? I mean, aside from the obvious fact that you put the bomb together in the first place.

[She gets a +25. Don't even.]

Who said anything about feeling guilty?

[Guilt doesn't play a huge part of it, really. She watched him jump in front of that thing, he could have easily stayed out of the way. And it would have sucked to have someone else get hit with it, but it wouldn't have been as awful.]

I was afraid you were going to bleed out in my arms or something. Terrified, actually.

[Oh look, her drink. Suddenly it's really interesting. Siiiiiip.]

[Archer narrows his eyes.]

I'm honestly a little offended you think a little (Note: Actually gigantic) improvised explosive could kill Sterling Archer.

[He grins smugly, and sips his drink.] I'm... figuratively bulletproof, Elena, come on.

Yeah, well the outfit I had to toss because it was soaked in your blood says otherwise.

Did you add it to the pile of blood-drenched suits on the hill outside my room at the castle?

[Archer laughs and takes a drink.] Somebody should really take care of that one of these days.

[She should probably be shocked, or confused, or something, but instead Elena just laughs and shakes her head before she lifts her drink a bit, clinking it against his as if making a toast.]

Never change, Archer.

[At least one of them had to get through this without falling apart. Might as well be him.]

[isisagent]

[Archer rolls his eyes, and jokingly quips;]

Sure, says the changeling. [He takes a drink, and grins.]

[She's grinning over her glass, too.]

I have to. You don't.

[And then she knocks back the rest of her drink in one go before she sets it down on the closest flat surface. She then proceeds to reach out and grab for his free hand so she can tag at it.]

Come on, you're dancing with me.

[eggswoodhouse]

[ maybe. maybe this is happening.

the closest flat surface is a tray held by this old guy, who appears to be working at this wedding. does he know that the country's been taken over? probably not. ] Would you like another, miss?

[She pauses, thinks for a brief moment, before she takes one, intending on just kind of...downing it on her way to the dance floor.]

[Archer tags along after Elena towards the dance floor, but comes to an abrupt halt at this nonsense. He scoops a drink off the tray Woodhouse is carrying. Then he uppercuts the tray from the old man's hands.]

Where the hell have you been, Woodhouse? You keep sneaking off to - one can only assume - do gratuitous amounts of heroin. [And then he just stares at him, like an upset parent.] And clean this mess up! This is how you... get alcoholic ants? Or something.

[doubletake]

[Her eyebrows lift.]

You know this guy? [A beat.] Isn't he the help?

[She's so confused right now. Also flashing back to Archer thinking Francesca was the help. Deja vu? Sort of?]

[isisagent]

[I love that Elena isn't phased by the uppercutting of the drink tray. She's building up her Archer immunity.]

This is Woodhouse. He's been my butler since before I could wipe my own ass. He's a horrible heroin addict, and a worse butler, but he's MINE damnit!

I OWN HIM!

[eggswoodhouse]

[ the tray clatters to the floor as woodhouse raises both hands slowly, looking somewhat baffled but cowed nevertheless ] Er, yes, sir, certainly. [ he pulls a towel from his belt and bends down to start cleaning it up ]

[Archer folds his arms, glaring at the old man.]

And put some elbow grease into it. I want to hear your old chicken bones creaking, damnit!

[She probably has more Archer immunity than anyone, okay. Backhanding trays is small time Archer shenanigans at this point.]

...I'm pretty sure slavery is still considered wrong in most places in this world...

Unfortunately, yes it is. Luckily Woodhouse is white and English, so it's serfdom and not slavery. [And he sips his drink, confident in his logic.]
