Between the various members of the wedding party, everything comes together just in time for the big event. Within a few weeks' time, the day has finally arrived. Whether they've met or spoken to the bride and groom, the entire isle of Andres is invited to this event. Cool colors are prominent throughout the ceremony set up on the Andres coast. From the bridesmaids dresses to the flower arrangements to the beautiful blue sky and sea, it's a very calming atmosphere.

Once the ceremony is finished, everyone is invited to the reception, held at the Andres palace. There's food, drink, and music. Tables are available, but with such an open guest list, there's no assigned seating- other than the main table up front where the wedding party and their guests will sit last supper style.

[ The Doctor grins like the proverbial cat that got the cream. All ear to ear and endlessly pleased with himself. He thwacks Amy gently on the arm. ]

See! Did you hear that? Helen thinks it suits me. Hah!

Well, Helen's just a bit mad, isn't she?

[ JUDGING THE BOTH OF YOU NOW. ]

Oi, no, shut up, Helen's great! Look at her she's clever and funny and she's got that whole sexy thing going on.

[ Helen, he's got your back. ]

[Her eyebrows raise a bit at that sexy comment. Well then.]

I'd be curious to see what you'd dress him in. [She says to Amelia.] What do you say, Doctor? Feeling brave enough to let her?

[ The Doctor... doesn't notice the eyebrow raise much at all (sense... motive? 3) but he does answer her question with an entirely screwed up face. ]

No she'd make me look rubbish. She'd dress me in a jumper or a cagoule or something. Though that is a good word isn't it? Cagoule.

Oh, but you'd look so good in a poncho. [ she teases cheerfully. ] 'specially with your sort of pointy face and -- [ her hand flutters near the top of his head. ] -- All that.

[daredtobelieve]

[Helen tries to be polite and not laugh but...a poncho? Oh lord. She at least turns away to try to disguise the laugh.]

Oy shut up, Pond, you'll embarrass me in front of Helen.

[ He pulls yet another face. A slightly different one though, he does have a while host of them after all. ]

Oh, Doctor, you do that fine on your own! [ :D ]

Aren't you two just a pair. Well, Amy dear. You must let me steal him away for at least one dance. [she leans in closer to the ginger and drops her voice a touch.] Preferably a slow one. Less...arm movement.

Feel free to take him.

[ she sounds like a mum giving away their child. yes, please tire him out so he won't fuss when i put him to bed. ]

Pond you're so embarrassing.

[ He is here, you know. ]

[Helen just gives them both another laugh and shake of her head. Stepping to the Doctor's side, she slips her arm through his and gently tugs him towards the dance floor.]

Come along.

[ as helen leads him off, amy calls after them, perhaps the tiniest bit jealous: ]

You know, the law in Connecticut says any utterances from a man in a bow tie are not to be credited. Wonder where that came from!

[ she's just opening the door for conversation, you know. not continually insulting his bow tie to prove she is the superior companion because he puts up with her profound scottish-ness. ]

[ The Doctor grins somewhat ridiculously as Helen leads him off, moving easily with her. The smile on his face is obvious, how pleased he is to be reunited with Amy once again. ]

Oh yes. It's all so lovely. A great way to start to rebuild this place, I think.

[Shes all smiles for him.]

I like her. [She means Amy]

[ He can't stop smiling. The fact she's there, the fact he's got her? ]

I thought I'd never see her again.

It's always good to see people reunited on this side of the Veil. How did you know one another?

She's my best friend.

[ His voice is soft as he says that, and he glances a little back towards her. ]

Oh she's got no idea really. She doesn't remember the half of it. But I do. And I lost her, you know. I thought forever but there she is.

This place can do wonderful things, bringing people together. I'm glad you found her.

And it's a fresh start. I made mistakes. But I won't. Not this time. I can't.

[ There's a near desperation in his voice at that, and he looks almost sad, but he soon shakes that off. ]

Listen to me, going on when we should be having a boogie.

I don't much mind, either way. [If he feels like he can talk to her about such things, all the better. She'll listen.]

Well what about you then? How've you been getting on? Done anything clever lately?

Been working on getting back into my research. Nothing especially clever of note, though. I'm afraid I'm a bit boring lately.

Doesn't sound boring to me. Research. Love a bit of research, me! Learning new things, what could be better than that?
