Between the various members of the wedding party, everything comes together just in time for the big event. Within a few weeks' time, the day has finally arrived. Whether they've met or spoken to the bride and groom, the entire isle of Andres is invited to this event. Cool colors are prominent throughout the ceremony set up on the Andres coast. From the bridesmaids dresses to the flower arrangements to the beautiful blue sky and sea, it's a very calming atmosphere.

Once the ceremony is finished, everyone is invited to the reception, held at the Andres palace. There's food, drink, and music. Tables are available, but with such an open guest list, there's no assigned seating- other than the main table up front where the wedding party and their guests will sit last supper style.

Oh, it feels wonderful. Just... just wonderful. [She beams wide] But if I can be honest, I don't know if it's fully set in.

[attollores]

[Her happiness is infectious and Alainn can't help the smile turning up the corners of her mouth.] Oh, I'd imagine it hasn't had time to yet.

But ye've years ahead of the two of ye to let it sink in. [She chuckles, glancing around furtively before her eyes snap back to the other woman's face.] Are ye planning on honeymooning anywhere?

[witchwoman]

I hadn't really thought much about it, but at the urging of a friend, I may try to steal him away for a weekend soon.

[attollores]

That is one very smart friend ye have there. [She tucks Myri's arm through hers, walking with her towards the dessert bar.] I bet ye could even steal him away for more than a weekend. I'm sure Wynn would understand.

[Take yo man and have a real vacay gurl, you deserve it.]

[witchwoman]

We'll see. I just worry that the others will find too much trouble while I'm gone.

[attollores]

I'd say not to worry about everyone else for a while, but I'm sure that would be akin to telling the sun not to shine. [Basically you're adorable and your heart is so big she just can't even take it. Let her just hang out with you for a while.

She walks in silence after that statement, obviously content just to take in the sight of all the revelry surrounding them. There is a shadow over her countenance, the same dimness that had clouded her eyes the last time they spoke is still there, as though not even the happiness surrounding them could fully alleviate it.]

[witchwoman]

[Myri ducks her head and laughs a little. Her worrying nature is just too well known. Whoops.

Also for the sake of keeping things in a clean order, setting this thread after Myri's talk with Mark.]

How are you? Really.

[attollores]

[Yes, good with the order!]

[Her eyes flick to Myri quickly, the hurt in them unmistakable before she looks back to the ground again, hair swinging forward to partially cover her face. She isn't going to lie, she's sure Myri would see right through it, but she also doesn't want to rain on her wedding day parade.]

I've certainly been better, but I've also been worse. [her shoulder lifts in a shrug as she looks up again, a strained smile on her face.</small.]

[witchwoman]

[Myri doesn't seem all that bothered by it being her wedding day. She reaches out and takes Alainn's hand lightly in hers.]

You can always talk to me. I hope you know that.

[attollores]

[Her fingers grip Myri's tightly, thankful for her support.]

Aye, I do. I- [she sighs, shaking her head.] -I told him. How I feel. It didn't... go well.

[witchwoman]

What happened? [Just butts into their lives from both sides.]

[attollores]

[It's okay, she doesn't mind. Taking a deep breath she starts to spill the story.] I just... kinda came right out with it. And it was horrible timing, and I knew it as soon as I said it, but I couldn't stop meself. And he had no clue, obviously, and I know I took him by surprise. And we were in the graveyard, in front of his parents graves.

Why would I ever think that was a good idea? What kind of idiot tells someone who finally has the chance to come to some kind of peace with his past that she loves him, in front of his parent's resting place? And then he started talking about his betrothal, and how it was his mother's dream that he and Lara would marry and... [She stops, shoulders slumping in defeat.]

How am I supposed to compare with all of that? What kind of monster would I be that I would want to go against his mothers legacy?

[witchwoman]

You aren't a monster, Alainn. You're a woman who has a very real connection with a man who's still in the process of finding himself. But it's something that you deserve to be able to admit, and something that he deserves to hear. Whatever may come of it in the end? You would have always wondered what might have been if you hadn't said anything.

But... [Well it's not her place at all to just tell her what she knows from Mark. So she has to tread carefully here.] Give him time. It's a lot to take in. But it's just as important as anything else he's sorting out for himself.

[attollores]

Aye, I suppose yer right about that. I would have wondered. Now at least I know. [She hesitates, finally nodding at Myri's last words.] Okay, I'll give him time. It's not really like I have much other choice in the matter anyway. And...

[witchwoman]

[She frowns a bit, at the way Alainn makes it seems so final- and not in her favor. But again, she doesn't want to say more than she should. However, that bit at the end does cause her expression to turn a bit confused.]

And?

[attollores]

[She shrugs, looking down a moment before she answers.] And it's not like I'll be giving me heart away to anyone else. I'm pretty much a one-guy kinda girl. I've got nothing but time ahead of me.

[witchwoman]

I have faith that it will work out in the end. And I'm always here to talk, in the meantime.

[attollores]

[She gives Myri a grateful look, hugging her tightly and suddenly.] Thank ye, Myri. For everything.

[She pulls back, hand squeezing Myri's one last time.] Now, ye should go and enjoy yer party, like a proper bride. Stop letting us old maids hog yer time!

[witchwoman]

[Myri hugs Alainn back just as tightly and nods.]

Try to have a good time, at least.

[attollores]

Oh, don't worry about that. I'm going ter get Fred and Kat both out onto that dance floor if it kills me... Come to think of it, Kat might. But, that's half the fun, right?

[She gives Myri a small wave, her smile actually brighter this time than it has been in a while.]

[witchwoman]

If anyone can manage it, I bet it's you. [She says with a laugh as she turns to head back to mingle with the rest of the guests.]
