[ The castle can be a happening place, even on more mundane days. This log is for random interactions over the course of these few months. Because not everyone is into parties, ok. Characters participating in the following missions are asked to wait until their missions have concluded before tagging into things that take place chronologically after said missions: Ravenloft, Shadow Bermuda, and City of Blood If you aren't certain if that applies to you, please ask! Characters who are not currently squired in may also post, as their characters are living in the castle awaiting their ceremonies.

You are encouraged to start your own threads and tag around, and feel free to threadjack into any on-going threads that aren't specified as 'closed' in the subject lines since people can enter into rooms even in the middle of what's going on. WE ARE BIG ON THREAD-JACKING HERE. [She unfortunately does not speak Groot-speak (she speaks Latin but not Groot-speak; wtf this is dumb, can she get a refund with her brain on Latin?), so she can't understand what he's saying, only that he's saying something that is obviously more than a second introduction. (sense motive 20.) The shrug of his shoulders kind of gave that away too -- body language she's pretty good at reading, usually. At least when it comes to human body language she is.]

[She'll assume not. That he hasn't been here a while, that is. "A few months" she would consider a while -- a lot more so than 'just got here last week' -- but since ... slight language barrier, she's going to have to make a few assumptions based on what she can tell.] I've been here a year. [Definitely a while.] I mostly like it here. [She'll give more information on herself, so even though she doesn't speak Groot-speak to fully understand him, he can understand more information about her.] If you'd rather, I can stay with yes or no questions? [That he can at least indicate yes or no to, in other ways than just verbal]

[It's okay, he doesn't look upset about it. Very rarely does he encounter people who understand him. There's only two in the Castle as it is, and that's more than usual.

He smiles before he gives her a friendly nod. That will probably work out better.]

[He tilts his head in confusion for a minute before he shakes his head.

He's not really sure what a Knight is, so he probably isn't one.]
