[ The castle can be a happening place, even on more mundane days. This log is for random interactions over the course of these few months. Because not everyone is into parties, ok. Characters participating in the following missions are asked to wait until their missions have concluded before tagging into things that take place chronologically after said missions: Ravenloft, Shadow Bermuda, and City of Blood If you aren't certain if that applies to you, please ask! Characters who are not currently squired in may also post, as their characters are living in the castle awaiting their ceremonies.

You are encouraged to start your own threads and tag around, and feel free to threadjack into any on-going threads that aren't specified as 'closed' in the subject lines since people can enter into rooms even in the middle of what's going on. WE ARE BIG ON THREAD-JACKING HERE. You can also specify 'single thread', meaning you want only one response for all participants, rather than multi-thread, where a number of different scenes/threads can be done as replies to the top prompt.]

They're the kind of people who seem to know where the action is. If anyone's gonna help me get my ship back together, seems like these guys.

It's all... pretty vague, actually. I have flashes - flying, training, but...

All the specifics? They're gone.

That's gotta be hard. [Han doesn't remember everything, but he knows enough about his life before he got here that it's not... blank.] You're making new memories, though, right? In this world?

It's okay. [She gives him an encouraging smile. It's not like their conversations would be that different if he did remember her. She's still glad to see him.] I'm Carol. We work together back in my world.

[He looks surprised, or as surprised as a tree can look.

He reaches up and taps his head, as if he wonders if his brain is broken. He's only heard bits and pieces about the Veil, since he spent most of his time in the forest outside, so he's a little confused.]

Oh, it might be the veil, but it also might just be that we're not from the same universe. I haven't met anyone who remembers me yet. Except Deadpool, but that is not a good thing. [She wrinkles her nose.] Still, good to have you around. Are you part of the Knights?

[He tilts his head to the side in confusion before he shakes his head.

What the heck is a knight???]

[....huh.] So why are you here?

[And will she ever actually manage to understand his response?]

[Groot tilts his head to the side before he holds out a hand, letting vines grow from his palm before tilting his head toward the direction of the forest outside.]

I am Groot.

[Wis 17 means she gets the general gist, though it doesn't make sense on a fundamental level that she just doesn't get Groot as a... person? Does that word apply?]

Uh huh. Does being around other trees help?

[He shakes his head before he thinks briefly, finally pointing down at the ground, and then up into the air towards the sky.
