[ The castle can be a happening place, even on more mundane days. This log is for random interactions over the course of these few months. Because not everyone is into parties, ok. Characters participating in the following missions are asked to wait until their missions have concluded before tagging into things that take place chronologically after said missions: Ravenloft, Shadow Bermuda, and City of Blood If you aren't certain if that applies to you, please ask! Characters who are not currently squired in may also post, as their characters are living in the castle awaiting their ceremonies.

You are encouraged to start your own threads and tag around, and feel free to threadjack into any on-going threads that aren't specified as 'closed' in the subject lines since people can enter into rooms even in the middle of what's going on. WE ARE BIG ON THREAD-JACKING HERE. [ Sebastian had put some real thought into where he was going to take Faye if she was there. Just that he wanted out of the castle and he wanted out with her. Since he was still working on getting his licence he didn't plan to drive, that was a second reason he needed her.

Once he reached her door he knocked and waited for her. Standing looking pretty nice, outside of the trenchcoat he always wore kinda killed the normalish feel of the look. (Dis 15) ]

[Faye opens her door, and immediately raised an eyebrow.]

Can I help you? [It's not an unwelcome surprise, but she wasn't expecting company.]

Get dressed, were going out.

[ He spoke, oh so sure of himself.]

Oh really? [She says with a laugh.] And where exactly are we going?

[opprobrium]

[ He motioned his thumb behind him.] Out, like I said.

[reallywicked]

[She rolls her eyes.] That's not a fucking answer. [But she turns back to find something nicer to wear anyway. She doesn't close the door on him. He's seen her naked, so it's not like she's going to be shy about getting dressed in front of him.]

At least give me an idea of what I should be dressing for.

It's the truth.

[ He shrugged some, stepping on in and actually closing the door. A bit of a jealous streak had grown in him. He likes this view no one else needs to see. At least with him knowing.]

Dinner, mostly nice place. [ Thus the nice shirt under his trench coat.]

[That's slightly more helpful. She takes some time to look a few things over in her closet before slipping on a dress and fussing with her hair briefly.]

Baal had been around for a few months, working on his training and trying to get to know people. He isn't sure what his purpose will be in the knights, but training was something he could focus on while he was in a facility to do it.

So he would probably run into a lot of new people in the different training rooms. At least in the firing range he's a bit more impressive. Don't look at him with a sword. Or staff. He's still angry at the staff from the last time he tried to use it.

Mars had not come to train, he was trying to find Venus who had wandered off. It was the cat that finds Baal first, she has black short fur and almost glowing orange eyes. Sitting nearly near by purring as she watched the human train. Her human was on his way, she knew he was near, they are connected after all but for now she's watching this new human shes not seen before.

Growing up in Egypt, cats were still held in reverence. He got along much better with the cats in the castle than the dogs, that was for sure. So when he noticed the black cat watching him, he smiled and walked over, crouching down and extending his hand out for the cat to get his scent and give him permission to pet it.

"Hello, my pretty. Are you looking for your human?"

She gave a soft mew, her tail swaying in her peaceful way. She sniffed at his hand and oddly nodded her head like she totalld understood. A voice comes from near by, a accent like one from Chicago. "She said it's cool, go on. She likes when strangers pet her." The voice spoke as a tall pretty boy was making his way over. He was a couple inches over six foot, with brown wavey hair.

"I'm the human, Mars. She's Venus." He spoke without prompting.

Baal smiled as he went to pet Venus. "That is a very fitting name. Pleasure to meet you. I am Baal."

She started to purr for him and, nuzzle his hand at any chance, as Mars stood to the side watching them. "Likewise, Baal. Always good to meet someone else who likes cats. " he spoke on. "Are you new?" He asked with a smile.

"Yes, I am. I have only been here since April, but it is still a very big place and a lot to take in." He smiled at the cat, and then looked up at the human. "How about the two of you?"

"Oh yes, it takes awhile to really take the whole place in. Have you seen the gardens? They are very beautiful." He answered with a smile. "A year or so, if not longer, I kind of lost track of time. I am gone a lot, I go out as much as possible." He explained, keeping his hands behind his back. "I'm a sorcerer, and she is my familiar, I don't always take her with me on missions if i think their dangerous."

[ it's early july when lila finally gets to her mentor duties and texts doyle instructions to meet her at the firing range.

at 7am. :) she never sleeps, it makes for an early bird.

when he arrives, his tiny little mentor will already be hard at work murdering a target with an excalibur pistol in each hand and music (classic rock, thanks to her dumb boyfriend) blaring out of her cell phone so she can still hear it through the earmuffs she's rocking. she's very capable with her guns, to the point that it's kind of scary a 19 year old girl is that good. she is, of course, wearing heels and with a light blue dress and her short bob of blonde curls tucked behind a black headband, she looks a little like alice in wonderland. if alice shot the red queen in the face. ]

[ It was a text straight from hell, he had been dead asleep half hung over by now when his alarm went off. Its what he gets for a night of drinking.

He arrived more like 7:20... but hey he actually showed up. His hair unkempt but he was dressed nearly matching brown on greenish yellow He had arrived and was leaning against the wall behind her, having moved quietly and watched while she shot. The lass certainly had talent. Making a mental note not to piss her off. ] I wouldn'a pegged you for a Stones fan, lass.

[ she nudges the earmuffs back when she hears something that isn't sylar's pandora station. turning she sees doyle and immediately looks at her watch like J'EXCUSE. ]

[ yeah, she didn't catch that. ]

[ The look was returned with a shrug. Its too damn early to be up... shes lucky he showed at all.]

I said, I didn't pin you for a stones fan.

Oh, I'm not, it's Pandora. Not my station. [ she shrugs, but turns it down a little so it's not blaring. ] So, tell me how you're settling in.

Their one o' the better bands besides U2.

[ He shrugged a bit, and took to leaning on the wall.]

Not bad at all Love, got a bit o' practise with a weapon in, met a charmin' lass. [ read as: new cheating partner ] an' learned the layout o' the place pretty well. All in all not bad.

Deryn - Closed to Ava

[ Maybe a week or so after his knighting Deryn was wandering around the castle. His feathers in place and his sleeve's unbuttoned which let the dark word of Dynasty tattooed one the forearm of visable when he would swing his arms while walking.

He had forgotten to ask where and when he might meet Ava, so today he was wandering the castle in hopes of running into her.]
