[ The castle can be a happening place, even on more mundane days. This log is for random interactions over the course of these few months. Because not everyone is into parties, ok. Characters participating in the following missions are asked to wait until their missions have concluded before tagging into things that take place chronologically after said missions: Ravenloft, Shadow Bermuda, and City of Blood If you aren't certain if that applies to you, please ask! Characters who are not currently squired in may also post, as their characters are living in the castle awaiting their ceremonies.

You are encouraged to start your own threads and tag around, and feel free to threadjack into any on-going threads that aren't specified as 'closed' in the subject lines since people can enter into rooms even in the middle of what's going on. Mars had not come to train, he was trying to find Venus who had wandered off. It was the cat that finds Baal first, she has black short fur and almost glowing orange eyes. Sitting nearly near by purring as she watched the human train. Her human was on his way, she knew he was near, they are connected after all but for now she's watching this new human shes not seen before.

Growing up in Egypt, cats were still held in reverence. He got along much better with the cats in the castle than the dogs, that was for sure. So when he noticed the black cat watching him, he smiled and walked over, crouching down and extending his hand out for the cat to get his scent and give him permission to pet it.

"Hello, my pretty. Are you looking for your human?"

She gave a soft mew, her tail swaying in her peaceful way. She sniffed at his hand and oddly nodded her head like she totalld understood. A voice comes from near by, a accent like one from Chicago. "She said it's cool, go on. She likes when strangers pet her." The voice spoke as a tall pretty boy was making his way over. He was a couple inches over six foot, with brown wavey hair.

"I'm the human, Mars. She's Venus." He spoke without prompting.

Baal smiled as he went to pet Venus. "That is a very fitting name. Pleasure to meet you. I am Baal."

She started to purr for him and, nuzzle his hand at any chance, as Mars stood to the side watching them. "Likewise, Baal. Always good to meet someone else who likes cats. " he spoke on. "Are you new?" He asked with a smile.

"Yes, I am. I have only been here since April, but it is still a very big place and a lot to take in." He smiled at the cat, and then looked up at the human. "How about the two of you?"

"Oh yes, it takes awhile to really take the whole place in. Have you seen the gardens? They are very beautiful." He answered with a smile. "A year or so, if not longer, I kind of lost track of time. I am gone a lot, I go out as much as possible." He explained, keeping his hands behind his back. "I'm a sorcerer, and she is my familiar, I don't always take her with me on missions if i think their dangerous."

"I have seen the gardens; I find it a welcoming place for afternoon meditations." One last scritch and Baal stood back up, wiping his hands on his pants. "So you are able to do magic. That is fascinating."

"I hear that's a good thing to do. My minds to busy to ever try meditation. Closest I get is an iPod." he admitted, Venus moved to snuggle at Baal's leg clearly she liked him.

"Oh yes, I'm rather good at it to. It's what I am here for after all. Its always smart to have a sorcerer on hand on missions. And what about you? Are you a fighter?"

Good kitty. Baal likes you too. "That is what my role here will be, yes. Though for me, I have held a few titles, the most recent being that of pirate."

Everyone loves Venus, she's a bitch and a sweetheart all rolled into one. "A pirate? No way, man that's cool!" His face lit up at that. Mars was easily impressed after all. "You must have a lot of stories."

Baal's smirk grew. "A few, perhaps."

"Could you share one? I love hearing adventurers tales." He smiled brightly.

I could, but stories are often best shared over food and drink, yes?

This is true, so, we should totally meet for drink's one night!

[ He's a little excitable.]

Cool, cool. I'll hunt you down sometime soon but for now, I have to get the little lady to lunch before her good mood wears off.

[ Hearing Lunch, Venus moved back towards her pet human.]
