[Andrew doesn't come in the library a lot, preferring his online research to actual books. But some things you need books for, so he's here. And he's... clumsy. So nearby, a giant tree of a man is stumbling into a table and dropping books on the floor. Oops.]

Oh shit. [ That broke his concentration. He lifted cranky kitty off his lap and left her in the chair to move over to help the other guy pick up his books.]

Are you alright?

Yeah... I'm just- [He rubs a hand hard over his face before nodding and dropping to a knee to pick up some of the books.] Haven''t been sleeping well, I guess. Sorry.

[ Mars looked at him a moment as he helped with the books.] Tried Melatonin? It works pretty well, doesn't make you groggy as hell come morning.

Yeah. Tried a few things actually. Not sure what's going on with me. [It's actually his succubus girlfriend wearing him out with her sexcapades but he won't figure that out until later.] You're newer, yeah? Seen you around but haven't had a chance to say hi. I'm Andrew.

[ Nothing Mars would know there.] Maybe a sleeping potion then?

[ He smiled and nodded in return.] Yeah, Im new. My names Mars.

I try to stay away from magic. Nothing against it or anything. It just makes me nervous.

It is not for everyone, I'll remember that.

Though why don't you come sit down and rest a minute or so before you drop those again.

Yeah, maybe I should. [he's just going to leave the mess on the floor for later at this point. Flopping himself in a chair, Andrew groans and pushes a hand through his hair.]

I'm Andrew, by the way. In case you wanted to complain about me later.

[ Mars marked his page and leaned back crossing a leg, his smile ever present.]

Nice to meet you Andrew, I'm Mars. It's short for Marshall before you ask, everyone does. [ He then offered a bit of a softer smile.] And don't worry complaining is not really something I do, Any bad moment always opens a door to a positive.

Mars isn't the weirdest name I've heard. Makes sense, though. [He shuts up about the positive attitude bit. Andrew's never been an optimist.] So how do you like it? I'm guessing you're new-ish since I've never seen you.

Thanks. [ He responded to the bit on his name before shrugging some.]

I like it a lot better then the last group I worked with. There is enough here t keep me busy and it seems like there will be a lot of opportunities.

Who were you with before us?

Small time group in Jersey, the Jejune. [ Yes, the word did mean naive.]

O...kay? And what kind of group were they? What sort of shit were you into?

Mostly small time security,they were mostly muscle and I was used to handle the magical aspects. It all felt too shady for my liking so when I heard about this group I came across seas to see if they had an interest in my skill set.

So what sort of things do you specialize in? You a wizard or..?

Close, I'm a sorcerer. [ He smiled a bit.] Fire and lights are my specialty.

Suppose I'm not used to seeing sorcerer in the library. First time for everything.

It is unusual, but my grandmother was big on me reading. [ He smiled a bit looking to him.] There is always more you can learn.

Won't argue with that. [He just prefers his computer to a book but he figures he's in the minority there... at least with people that are... in the library.]

So what are you reading up on?

Most cant, but they will anyway.

[ he smiled a bit and shrugged.]

Incantations mostly, their not a lot of good to me but still. It is interesting.

More magic then? That's cool. My best friend is in the Dragon's Fire. She could show you some stuff, probably. Her name's Ella. Just... guard your balls. She gets violent.
