[ The success of much of the Andres operation hinges on cutting off communication between Sarandis and his men on the Isle. The first step to doing so is a quiet takeover of the city's power station, located a couple miles away from any other buildings, surrounded by woods on three sides. The power station group is one of those who are being transported via a scroll of greater teleport cast by Sir Hasmed, and he lands them precisely on target - in a clearing not far away from the station, in the early hours of night on Andres Isle.

They find themselves transported from the black and white tiled floors of the castle... outside, surrounded by trees. Zatanna immediately checks her Drakenet phone, running the program sent out by Zero for mission leaders to check their latitude and longitude on, to double check that the spell was successful. After a moment, it beeps once softly, and she offers a little sigh of relief, looking at the others. ]

So far, so good.

Whoa... [Willow has only started learning about magic before she fell through the Veil. So this is awesome as far as she's concerned.

Y'know... if you don't think about the war and possible impending early grave thing.]

So...which way?

[Traveling by teleportation is ... strange and new and a little disorienting. But it got them where they needed to go and that's the only thing that matters. Kate scans the area for a moment, trying to see if she can spot any landmarks in the area, but the low light isn't helping (spot 12).]

Probably not far - if we're in the right place, then we should start moving.

[ nat 20 navigate check???? zatanna gestures off in what seems like a random direction, but she looks fully confident. ] It's this way. Shouldn't be more than a five or ten minute hike.

Guess we better get to hiking then. [if she's overly eager, it will mask her nerves, right?]

Let's try to keep it quiet, in case anyone's out here. That raccoon only broke out of their prison a couple days ago. They might still be searching for the woods for him.

If we want, I can cast a silence sphere around us, but it'll mean we can't talk until we get there.

We can work out hand signals. [Allison speaks up.]

The army uses them for their own movements. They're easy to remember and follow.

That should help with the spell, right? [Allison is curious to see it happen.]

'That raccoon only broke out of their prison a couple days ago.'. You know that's not a sentence you hear every day!

[ Oh right, the not talking thing, he'll... get right to that. ]

[There's a mild look of amusement in the Doctor's direction, before she shakes her head and moves on with a nod.]

Hand signals make sense. We should cover our tracks as much as we can.

[ zee nods. someone who wants to be in charge of covering checks can roll a survival check to do so as they go along. ] Just keep your eyes peeled. People won't be able to hear us, but they can still spot movement. [ with that, she waves a hand and says: ] Ecnelis! [ and all sound within 20 feet of her stops. the sphere moves with her, so she gestures for people to stay close, and off they go. anyone trying not to be seen specifically can make a hide check as they move! ]

[Kate keeps close to the group, trying to stay out of sight as best she can. Her eyes are adjusting to the dark, so she can see a bit better than before (spot 16), but it's still not much, so she just tries to keep out of the view of anyone else as much as she can, even in the armor (hide 19).]

[Willow is in awe of how freaking cool this is. It's almost enough to not make her nervous about war stuff. Almost. She will definitely keep her eyes peeled, as requested (spot 21).]

[ willow notes the parking lot of the large power plant up ahead, which has only two cars in it. attached to the back half of the building is a fenced-in area where the power towers are erected. ]

[so presuming this spell is like a Hush situation, willow tries to speak because it's an instinct. But then gestures to whoever is closest to her to get their Ttetion to see the parking lot as well.]

[Kate catches that gesture, following Willow's eyeline to the plant ahead. She holds up a hand to stop, and then turns to gesture to the parking lot indicated.]

[ zee raises a finger and writes in golden letters with a finger in the air: "security probably". ]

[omfg be cooler. Willow nods and holds up her hands in a gesture of confusion like uh so what's the plan guys???]

[Kate nods for a moment. There's probably security, but she can't see it from here. They would have to get closer, unless one of you has super night vision or something. So she'll just point to herself, then to her eyes with two fingers and point towards the parking lot.

Aka "I'll move closer to get eyes on them?"]

[ zee nods, motioning for the others to hold up a moment while kate sneaks forward. it'll be a hide check plus move silently once she gets outside the silence bubble :x ]

[Kate inches forward as quietly as possible, trying to stick to the cover as best she can, but there's not really much to go on when you're 5'9" and wearing armor (move silently 18, hide 11). Hopefully the guards aren't really paying attention, if there are any out there.]

[ she actually doesn't see any outside as she gets closer! there are a few lights visible on inside, however. ]

[Well, that's good at least. She'll take a couple steps closer to be sure, before hanging back and texting this back to her team leader.]

No guards on the grounds so far, but lights on inside.

[She'll send that off and keep moving forward bit by bit, stopping every so often to see if she can see anything relevant (spot 26).]

[ zee motions for the others to move on ahead with her, as they reach the edge of the parking lot behind kate, who slips between the cars near the building, and spots a man in a security guard uniform through a window on the second floor, barely glancing around as he walks by, not even looking out the window ]

[That seems ... low for a security presence, but she's not going to jinx it for now. He's probably got back up in there somewhere. She's just going to turn back to the group behind her as they get closer, point up to the second floor window and hold up the finger to indicate one guard.]

[ zee sees the gesture, and nods, and with that, they break across the parking lot after her, also hiding behind cars, although zatanna doesn't look too worried about being spotted (hide... 10). everyone can make their hide checks and spot checks! ]

[Willow just... disappears because she got a nat 20 hide check. And a 20 total spot. Baby bad ass over here.]
