Andres has been quite the distraction from the looming problem of what's to be done about Dimitris' compatriots in the cult of the Church of the Lord's Humanity. Having learned during the retaking of the Isle that the Church leader, Draken Crombe, has been impersonating NOVA Records mogul Chad Becksworth for years in order to gain access to the company's resources, keeping tabs on his movements has become even more pressing.

His next scheduled appearance? At the upcoming 2015 Grammy's. And considering that the Church was behind the disaster in New York last year, where hundreds of Shadowkind were brainwashed into committing suicide in the Hudson River, it's only logical that Wynn intends to send his own forces to attempt to avert any other large scale catastrophes.

But that's not all. There have been some further twists in the story, and it may be time for them all to come to light. To that end, Wynn has asked many of those involved with the mission to gather, whether they'll be sent to the awards show with the team or not.

He's asked Myrilandel and Violet to come before the others.*

I think I can distract a bunch of guards. [ looks down at her big ass fucking belly. she will sure fake going into labor because that's only alarming in the sense that omg incoming tiny human not omg this is a trap. ] You know how the menfolk get into a panic when there is fluids and hysterical pregnant ladies.

If we can figure out who's in charge of security somehow, they can be the person I replace. Potentially give orders for everyone else to keep out while someone makes repairs. I could lead them to Vi, and if they come back, deny them entrance.

That would mean we'd have to make sure the actual person in charge was dealt with, though.

[That gets a chuckle out of Alainn, who was thinking the exact same thing tbh. Why not take advantage of a "medical emergency" that won't alert the guards in a "we're actually screwing with the show" kind of way. This is why neither of them should do the planning.

Aye, that's true enough. There are plenty of ways to take care of one person quietly rather than an entire team of 'em.

And if none of that works, you guys have your own celebrity who could have a crisis that needs attending to. Who wants to play Crazy Fan #1 to Finnick Odair?

And if all else fails, we've got someone who could very believably claim to be pregnant with his child. [He glances over at Myri and raises his eyebrows.]

[She levels a steady gaze at Spike.]

It's one thing to fake a woman going into labor. It's another to feed an idol's pregnant wife to their fan mob.

Elena's right. That's not an option. [ So she looks to Alainn and nods. You go gurl. ]

[Des has just been sitting here, letting y'all talk it out. HE DOES BETTER CONS ON THE FLY, OKAY... once he... knows the sort of people they're dealing with.]

I think between the lot of us we can divide and conquer- a few isolated, unrelated events at an awards show sparks way less attention than one big clusterfuck. They'll be too scattered to draw any conclusions.

That does seem the most advisable course, yes.

But as you can see, I have asked some others to come here as well, because there is something we must all discuss, something you need to know, before the mission.

[ a nod ] The goddess directed her to someone who had been, it seems, waiting for a sign from Sehanine. A sign that it was time to reveal some information that he had kept hidden for many long years.

Way less impressive than he is making it sound, for the record. We played a game of moonlight tag, it's not like we had a deep conversation into the night.

[ her lips purse slightly and her hands lift to rest against the edge of the table, fingers pressing into the wood as she stares at her chipped blue nail polish. ]

[Normally, any mention of the words "lazarus" and "talisman" whether together or separate would make Des sit up a little straighter or lean forward a little more, but he seems surprisingly ambivalent to what Vi could be implying here, and is focusing on another aspect of this.]

Are we talking the guy Jesus raised from the dead-Lazarus or the guy connected to the Talisman-Lazarus or are they the same guy?

The second.

Lazarus is a man I offered sanctuary to many years ago. He has lived here in the castle, out of sight of all others, since then. I knew that he was connected to the Talisman, but he has never been open with me about what that connection was. Until now.

[The super-serious tension is cut randomly Archer chortling abruptly.]

Heh... Moonbow. [He's clearly been attempting to hold that back for several moments.]

[ Buffy perks up immediately at the name Sehanine. Somehow, she hadn't expected the breaking news to be breaking and new to her. Her gaze lingers on Vi, foggy and inscrutable, for a moment after she speaks. Finally, she turns her attention back up to Wynn. ]

So, uh, not to be all cut-to-the-chase-y here, but ... what is the connection?
