Two bodies have been found in downtown London, likely the victims of attacks by some sort of Shadow creature. To prevent a panic, the police are investigating the matter as a dog attack and a potential robbery, while slipping the case under the table to Wynn and his Knights to look into further. Whatever did this is big, nasty, and seems to have taken down the victims without their even struggling. For now, the team is splitting up to look into the crime scenes more closely.

Nobody was out here that late. He shouldn't even have been out this way. Greg said he saw him down the bar, drinking more than his share of whiskey, same night.

The young man who was killed, Emilio... He was involved in some sort of religious group. It apparently involved a High Priest of some sorts and the followers referred to themselves as the Children.

Everybody thought he was some kind of whack-job. Alienated his friends, kept a lot of secrets.

Our friend Percy here was into some weird stuff, too. Apparently he was drinking the night he was killed, came down here despite the fact he had no reason to, and stood still during the entire murder. They said he had 'strange ideas,' and would talk about Janus, the two-headed Roman god of beginnings and transitions, doorways and time.

[He looks at Helen, who he's guessing might have heard of him as well.]
