WHO || Wynn, any and all Knights not currently on missions (if you are uncertain if your character would be at the castle for this, ask!)ooc; also if your Knight wants to get all gussied up, you can make a Disguise (Cha) check for how good they were at hair/makeup/stylin', etc! This goes for... any time.
WHAT || Squiring Ceremony Afterparty
WHERE || Knights Headquarters, the Ballroom
WHEN || March 1st, 2015, 6:00PM [backdated]
HOW || Prose OR Actionspam
The "afterparty" is rumored to be the real main event of the night. A black-tie affair in the lavish, opulent ballroom, it is every new Knight's chance to mingle and meet some of their new brothers in arms. Of course, a couple hours are provided following the ceremony for everyone to change, do hair and makeup, and choose from the vast array of formal attire in the closets of the balcony "dressing rooms" located at the top of spiraled staircases on either side of the ballroom. A separate dressing room exists for men and women, and they include full bathrooms (with, thankfully, very modern plumbing).
The squires are usually among the last to arrive, and the ballroom is full to the brim with a fancy array of people, of all shapes, sizes and species.
Hope you aren't shy. They're all here to meet you.
Feel free to make your own open threads for people to come congratulate your newly pledged knight.

Don't tell me they actually gave you a squire of your very own. [Who else would she be trying to impress? I guess that's Adam speak for you look bangin, girl. No
homoincest.]no subject
No squire for me. I'm not sure how long I'm going to stay. [Look, she isn't saying she's going to bail -- but she doesn't even live in the castle these days. She just drops by to check in on events.]
no subject
Slumming for guys, huh? [Casually calls a bitch out nbd. Maybe he missed her a little.]
no subject
Wow, you must really think highly of your peers. [She glances around the room.] I thought these events were meant to be a big deal. I haven't had to attend one in a while, I went with what felt familiar.
Also, I can slum for anyone I want. [Maybe she'll go flirt with Helen. WHO KNOWS.]

You make it sound like you have someone in particular in mind. [Meanwhile, the look on his face is asking whether this might be a potential overshare he needs to prepare himself for.]
no subject
No one in particular. I don't even recognize half of these people.
no subject
You aren't missing out on much. [He's just keeping it 110% real ok, he doesn't think highly of very many people--even if they were supposed to be his comrades or whatever.]
no subject
Want to go get a drink? [If her prospects are really that lousy, she might as well keep drinking.]
no subject
[Look he's not saying no, he just feels the need to give her a hard time.]
But if you really want me to be your wingman, I guess you can always owe me one.
no subject
I'm not looking for you to wingman for me. I'm just looking for a drink.

So what've you been up to?

England's pretty boring, now that I'm thinking about it. But at least I don't have to sit around on desk duty anymore.
no subject
[She's spotted her and just kept on walking.] Are you still with Astrid? [Because maybe she should meet her...]
no subject
And then the subject of girlfriend comes up and he's just like--] Technically. Why? [Trust no bitch.]

no subject
You probably wouldn't have too much in common with her. [Except like, him. o_o]
no subject
I'm not looking to date her, just meet her.
no subject
Planning on pulling out the baby pictures while you're at it?
[He almost ends that by calling her mom but then thinks better of it.]
no subject
If you don't want me to meet her, I'll keep my distance.
no subject
[He had a crazy girlfriend last time she was around tho so he can't really ... blame her. Looks at Astrid. Why does he date batshit insane.]
