The morning after, the Knights board a plane at their private airfield, and begin the couple hour flight to the country of Slovechnia.  Wynn has laid out a plan for them as such, leaving Sir Gar in charge of seeing it executed:  they are to send in a few Knights to infiltrate the wedding, while others steal an ambulance from a local hospital.  Using magic to make Sarandis think he's having a heart attack during the ceremony, they will intercept the outgoing call to the paramedics, and pose as them to take him out of there and straight to a private airfield to meet with Wynn.  They're all aware, however, of just how smoothly their plans tend to go where these villains are involved - especially if the Mind Master shows up.  

Either way, it promises to be an interesting day...

[she straightens up a little.] Yeah, sure. I was going to coach you and Steve anyway, just in case anyone tries to ask us anything so that you don't sound like idiots. And, you know, since we'll have to actually treat him for a little while. We can't just pick him up and shove him in the van.

That's what I figured. I don't have a whole lot of medical training, so I want to make sure I can sell it. I can do CPR but that's about it.

[pathology]

Well, yeah. So the first thing we have to do is find out about his medical history, like we're trying to confirm that it's actually a heart attack, and take his vitals. Pulse, blood pressure. And we're going to do an ECG — don't worry, I'm doing that — to check on his heart. I don't know if whoever is actually giving him a heart attack or if he's just going to think he's having a heart attack, so we might have to fudge it. Whatever. After we confirm that he's having a heart attack, we give him medicine. Aspirin and clopidogrel. Depending on how severe we want to spin it, we can give him more stuff, like oxygen and a morphine drip. At that point, after we've done all the immediate treatment stuff, we can cart him onto a stretcher and say that we're taking him to the hospital's primary angioplasty coordinator.

[Felicity nods as she takes that all in, mostly making mental notes to herself, sipping on some of the ambrosia stuff from the hero's feast.]

Since we're probably aiming to pass it off as severe, and he'll probably be more easy to transport drugged, do we want to plan for morphine?

[pathology]

Totally. Whatever ambulance we steal should be stocked with everything we need, but I have my med kit and my surgical kit just in case.

[allmydreams]

Cool. On the off chance that he's allergic to it, is there a back up drug we can use?

[pathology]

Oh, uh, fentanyl. [she seems to take a moment to reflect on this possibility.] But if he is allergic ... would that really be the worst thing?

[allmydreams]

[Felicity is on your wavelength, Astrid, but at the same time ... ]

Given that we all pinkie swore we would do our very best to bring him back alive, it would be pretty bad if we gave him a medication he was severely allergic to.

[There's a beat.]

But so long as he survives ... [she shrugs. no one is in the mood to be that nice to Sarandis.]

No, I know that! I'm not trying to murder him. It sort of interferes with the whole hippocratic oath thing, too. But after being a giant dickbag to an entire country, he could probably handle some hives.

[allmydreams]

[Felicity grins before nodding.]

Yep. I am totally with you there.

[pathology]

[seeming very pleased with herself] We've got this under control.

[allmydreams]

[Felicity nods in agreement.]

Sounds like it. Now all we have to do is steal ourselves an ambulance.

[pathology]

Yep. Ambulance, uniforms, and bam, instant paramedics.

[allmydreams]

[She nods in agreement.]

And in case things go bad, we have Steve to punch things.

Not to mention he's nice to look at ...

[allmydreams]

That definitely never hurts. But he's a good guy, which is rare in someone that attractive.

[pathology]

[she makes a meh face] Good guys don't really do it for me. You can have dibs.

Not really me either. Plus, I'm taken, so.

[She shrugs.]

He's a great date, though, if you just want someone to hang out with. But he cheats at ping-pong.

[He does not cheat, he's just Captain America.]

You played ping-pong with him?

[allmydreams]

It was a three person friend date, with a baby. It probably wasn't going to get any more complicated than that.

[Which is fine. They had fun, and that's what matters.]

[pathology]

[she snorts] That's a weird date.

[allmydreams]

[She shrugs.]

It was a blind date. I'm not sure there's a set level of normalcy when it comes to those.

[pathology]

Oh, ew. You're right. I try to avoid those at all costs. And dating in general. I'm working on me right now.

[allmydreams]

Always a very valid pursuit. You should always come first.

Totally. I was in a relationship with Adam forever and like, it wasn't him or anything, but being in a relationship is really hard. And boring.
