The morning after, the Knights board a plane at their private airfield, and begin the couple hour flight to the country of Slovechnia.  Wynn has laid out a plan for them as such, leaving Sir Gar in charge of seeing it executed:  they are to send in a few Knights to infiltrate the wedding, while others steal an ambulance from a local hospital.  Using magic to make Sarandis think he's having a heart attack during the ceremony, they will intercept the outgoing call to the paramedics, and pose as them to take him out of there and straight to a private airfield to meet with Wynn.  They're all aware, however, of just how smoothly their plans tend to go where these villains are involved - especially if the Mind Master shows up.  

Either way, it promises to be an interesting day...

[She squeezes back before shrugging.]

Usual pre-mission jitters. Quietly counting down all the things that could go wrong just to get them out of my head. And you know me, I love my contingency plans.

Plans. [ she scoffs. ] What are those?

[She laughs.]

Things I tell myself to make me feel better about our prospects.

Well, Gar has a plan and even if she won't admit it, she's the best mission leader that you'll ever find -- and I went on a mission with Koraith so. [ he is a hard act to follow. ] And I packed you a bag. [ she gestures to the small handbag sized tote tucked under the seat in front of them. ] Potions, duct tape, a whistle, trail mix lite on the granola with extra m&m's, a butterfly knife, extra ammo for your gun, eyeliner, some tampons for bullet holes, you know. The necessities, for good luck.

[She pulls out the bag and shuffles through everything before smiling.]

Every girl's essentials. You're the best.

I'm well aware, but thank you. [ so flippant when she does not feel it. ] Everything will be fine.

[allmydreams]

Of course it will.

[She says as she eats Myri's awesome food that she totally had the whole time and soaks up all the beneficial benefits therein.]

I've got faith in us.

[graveflowers]

[ vi is literally always eating so it's just an understood that she's close to constantly gnawing on something. mmm ambrosia though. ]

We're a pretty damn good team once we're actually out there working. And this briefing had far less bickering than usual. I think we're growing as people.

[She smirks.]

Always a good sign. And we know for a fact that all of our motivation is in the right place. I think we'll do what needs to get done.

High five for morale. [ no, literally. HIGH FIVE. ]

And once that morale has been gotten, they will just continue munching as the plane lands and the mission starts. /scene]
