The morning after, the Knights board a plane at their private airfield, and begin the couple hour flight to the country of Slovechnia.  Wynn has laid out a plan for them as such, leaving Sir Gar in charge of seeing it executed:  they are to send in a few Knights to infiltrate the wedding, while others steal an ambulance from a local hospital.  Using magic to make Sarandis think he's having a heart attack during the ceremony, they will intercept the outgoing call to the paramedics, and pose as them to take him out of there and straight to a private airfield to meet with Wynn.  They're all aware, however, of just how smoothly their plans tend to go where these villains are involved - especially if the Mind Master shows up.  

Either way, it promises to be an interesting day...

[For most of the flight, Myri is quiet. As much as she knows this is where she needs to be, it still makes her nervous to be away from Shayla. She's also second guessing the spells she's prepared. There's no way to be certain just what she may need. She has to hope that the Stargods know best.

Also, some point while in transit, she's going to cast Heroes' Feast to give everyone the bonuses associated with that (at work so linking is hard yo). So enjoy your in flight meal, gang.]

[ it's mid heroes' feast that vi drops down next to myri, drink in hand. ]

You know, I didn't tell you when we were prepping, but this sort of thing? It's exactly like what we had back home, ambrosia and nectar are the food and drink of the gods, my gods at least. [ she bumps myri's shoulder with such fondness and affection for the sister she's found in this world. there's also a hollow sense of camaraderie because she knows myri understands how hard it was to leave their daughters behind. ]

Really? Well, I'm glad to bring a little piece of home back for you. Consider this a gift of my gods and yours, then.

[She leans a bit against Vi, just taking that small comfort for a moment.]

[ she smiles a little, kissing myri's hair before voicing her concerns, knowing myri won't judge her. ]

I'm having spell prep regret. Like what if I picked the wrong ones to focus on?

[witchwoman]

[She sits up, almost startled by that.]

You too? I've been second guessing myself all day.

[graveflowers]

[ she snorts and part of her isn't even surprised, but she drops her voice because she doesn't want anyone to overhear their uncertainty. except spike, but he has vampire hearing, that's his own fault. ]

I know I talk a lot of shit about not being a real cleric, but when I have to choose between healing spells and offensive ones and then remember that might be what gets someone killed, yeah. Second guessing ahoy. Like what the fuck, that's too much.

[ she's just going to shove her entire brownie in her mouth rn. eating her feelings. ]

[Myri knows that her magic works a little differently than Vi's. She can always use a part of her power for healing without preparing it ahead of time. There's less pressure in that sense. But the spells she prepared to try to stop any teleportation if need be? Or any offensive spells, any spells to help aid the others in their own fighting abilities? She doubted very much how well she had prepared herself for this encounter.]

At least we can rely on each other for assistance if the other is lacking at some point.

[ she has a lot of brownie to chew so she nods and chews enough to murmur: ] The dream team.

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one worried about that sort of thing, though. It helps- in a strange way.

Solidarity, probably.

[witchwoman]

I have faith in us and our choices. [It's easier to believe when it's about the both of them and not just her own choices. Believing in Vi has always been easy.]

And I know for a fact that there's a surplus in the team's faith in you.

And you as well, Vi. [She gently knocks her shoulder against the other woman's.] There's plenty to go around.

[Felicity never says no to free food, especially food with fantastic benefits. And she will eventually make her way over to Myri with a grin.]

It's no trouble. Hopefully it will give us all the boost in morale we need to complete our mission.

How are you doing with all of this?

[witchwoman]

As well as can be expected, I imagine. I'm worried about how Shayla's doing, but... I'm sure she's fine.

[allmydreams]

[Felicity nods, understanding.]

Did you leave her with Gus and Malina too?

[witchwoman]

No, I left her with Sir Bryne. He took quite a shining to her after the attack on the castle.

[allmydreams]

[She smiles softly at that.]

He seems like a good guy. I don't really know him that well, beyond what happened during the castle invasion.

[witchwoman]

He has younger sisters. I think he helped with them when he was a boy. He seems to be quite the natural with children.

[allmydreams]

[she nods in agreement.]

Always handy to have all the same. And it's good that she's bonding with someone.

[witchwoman]

So far, it seems she's smitten with nearly everyone she meets. I think she picked up her father's charm.

[allmydreams]

Certainly not a bad thing to have. And a friendly baby is a happy baby, which is definitely a bonus.

I'm very lucky in that regard. She hardly cries at all.
