The morning after, the Knights board a plane at their private airfield, and begin the couple hour flight to the country of Slovechnia.  Wynn has laid out a plan for them as such, leaving Sir Gar in charge of seeing it executed:  they are to send in a few Knights to infiltrate the wedding, while others steal an ambulance from a local hospital.  Using magic to make Sarandis think he's having a heart attack during the ceremony, they will intercept the outgoing call to the paramedics, and pose as them to take him out of there and straight to a private airfield to meet with Wynn.  They're all aware, however, of just how smoothly their plans tend to go where these villains are involved - especially if the Mind Master shows up.  

Either way, it promises to be an interesting day...

[ Steve smiles sheepishly. ]

I'm Steve Rogers. [ He leans forward to stick out his hand. ]

[ she extends her own delicately ] Dumage Moulet. Pleasure.

[recruited]

[ He's not delicate, but he's not an oof. He shakes her hand and then withdraws it. ]

Pretty name. Never met a Dumage. Not hugely popular back in my time. Or after the ice. [ Steve just assumes most people know. They usually do. He has no idea she hasn't been around. ] Met a lot of Mary's though.

[ something dark flashes in her eyes for a moment, but it's gone barely before he can register it. ] Haven't we all.

[recruited]

Are you okay with this whole thing?

[ Considering it's her sister that's up there marrying the guy that he's come to believe is evil incarnate. ]

[postergirl]

Decidedly not, which is why I'm here. This was my idea, after all.

[recruited]

Right. [ He nods. ] I meant her getting caught in the middle. Of all this that is. [ It's probably the stupidest question he could ask, but Steve has a big mouth sometimes. ] Sorry I'm probably being nosy.

[postergirl]

If you mean to imply that she's only involved in this because of me, I'm afraid you've misjudged the situation. She threw herself into this mess, in the most unfortunate of coincidences.

[recruited]

No. [ Steve shakes his head. ] If we have any hiccups then she's likely going to be his first piece of leverage. Are you worried? [ He definitely does not want her thinking he blames her or anything. ] Missions like these with a civilian in the middle are never easy.

[postergirl]

Nothing is going to happen to Amanda. That's what I'm here to make certain of.

[recruited]

You're a good sister.

[ He says with a nod. ]

I'll keep an eye out for her if something goes south. Just in case.

[postergirl]

Just in case.

[ she nods slightly ] But otherwise, just... let me handle her.

[recruited]

Of course.

[ Steve looks like a squirmy puppy right now. Like he's not sure what to say to her, but he doesn't want to just up and leave. ]

I should probably leave you be or I'll just rattle your ear off. [ Cue him standing up. ]
