The morning after, the Knights board a plane at their private airfield, and begin the couple hour flight to the country of Slovechnia. Wynn has laid out a plan for them as such, leaving Sir Gar in charge of seeing it executed: they are to send in a few Knights to infiltrate the wedding, while others steal an ambulance from a local hospital. Using magic to make Sarandis think he's having a heart attack during the ceremony, they will intercept the outgoing call to the paramedics, and pose as them to take him out of there and straight to a private airfield to meet with Wynn. They're all aware, however, of just how smoothly their plans tend to go where these villains are involved - especially if the Mind Master shows up.

Either way, it promises to be an interesting day...

[ amanda and valentin get up about halfway, where she stops to look out the window there. ] What-- [ her concern about her groom seems forgotten for the moment, considering how crazy all of this is. ] This is ridiculous.

I might have used a stronger word. [ he looks a little amused, but motions her on, away from the window ] We should not be where they can see us.

What? [Kat's command for Spike to come to her is a bit confusing.]

I have to go inside. They'll get suspicious... I can get Amanda out easily, but more people may complicate things.

[ THEY'RE JUST GOING UP FURTHER nothing to see here ]

If you have a better plan, I'd love to hear it, but I don't have a whole lot of options right now. Myri, we need to get out of here.

[He glares at the cops and keeps moving towards Myri.] I mean, you two can hear her, right? [He gestures with a hand.] Do most of your innocent hostages talk about chipped soldiers? The situation is a bit complicated!

[Diplomacy.... 14. He tried.]

[Her idea was to get Amanda out safely and not get shit more complicated with you and your new hostage, Spike!! That was her great idea. Sigh.]

Wait here. Just...keep her quiet and be ready.

[She's going to head inside to try to figure out how to do this without tipping off Valentin. Gonna head upstairs to catch up with them.]

[ amanda looks down the steps towards myri, gripping the railing with both hands ] Well? What's going on out there?

It sounds as though the shooting is coming closer. [ several of his bodyguards draw their own weapons, one of them glancing out the window ]

[ meanwhile, dumage comes tearing around the corner to enter the bell tower... but stops still when she finds herself facing down spike gripping kitty, pursued by two police officers. kitty isn't facing that way and doesn't seem to notice her, but dumage's eyes widen as she looks between the two of them, hesitating on entering into the tower and leaving spike there. ]

[ the cops... do hesitate, but don't lower their weapons, walking forward slowly as one says: "Sir, if that's the case, put your hands up, and we'll bring you both in and sort this out."

however, in spike's arms, kitty's body suddenly convulses once, and she gasps in pain... before her eyes roll backward and she slumps against him ]

[Myri moves up the stairs, paying as little attention to the bodyguards as possible while she makes her way to Amanda.]

It isn't good. [Which is...true. Better than lying, she thinks. Making her way upstairs, she reaches out to lay a gentle hand on top of Amanda's, continuing to look as nonthreatening as she possibly can before she... tries to magic her the fuck out of there (dimension door - will save 19 to negate). The idea here is to bring the both of them out to the bell tower entrance where she can hopefully use one of her prepped teleport spells to get everyone the fuck out of there... maybe...]

Yeah, that's not gonna--

[WELP THAT'S HAPPENING. WHAT THE HELL KITTY. Spike shifts, trying to get an idea of what the fuck is wrong with her (heal 22).]

Oh, bugger. That wasn't me, for the record.

Kittycat here's having a heart attack, by the way. Not saying I'll be too torn up about her biting it but if for some reason we want her alive it might be a good idea to hurry up!

[ as light flares up under myri's palm, amanda looks down, abruptly horrified and says: ] What-- [ and then myri teleports away - alone. (will save 21) womp womp. ]

I think we're a bit late for that. [ in fact, kitty seems to slip away entirely this round. as myri appears, dumage pushes forward to grab spike by the wrist and yank him closer to her so they can all be touching. (str 14 so hopefully he'll go willingly). ] We have to go! [ as myri just fucking appears over there, D and C shoot to disable Spike's apparent magical accomplice. (atk 13/12/16/18) so at least their over-cautious shots mean they don't hit jack or shit. ]

[Myri realizes that she...doesn't know where they're supposed to meet up with people. But they sure as hell cant stay here and there's not really time to chat about it while they're being shot at... So she'll use her Greater Teleport to take them back to the plane?? Since she can only teleport a max of 5 people anyway, so she's sure not failboat's ticket home. But hopefully that's also where everyone else plans on meeting up...]

[Spike isn't going to resist obviously, though he does frown worriedly at the chaos. He trusts his teammates to be able to take care of themselves. Doesn't mean he's not gonna worry.]
