The morning after, the Knights board a plane at their private airfield, and begin the couple hour flight to the country of Slovechnia.  Wynn has laid out a plan for them as such, leaving Sir Gar in charge of seeing it executed:  they are to send in a few Knights to infiltrate the wedding, while others steal an ambulance from a local hospital.  Using magic to make Sarandis think he's having a heart attack during the ceremony, they will intercept the outgoing call to the paramedics, and pose as them to take him out of there and straight to a private airfield to meet with Wynn.  They're all aware, however, of just how smoothly their plans tend to go where these villains are involved - especially if the Mind Master shows up.  

Either way, it promises to be an interesting day...

There's no such thing as a bad donut. Even stale? Nothing a microwave can't fix. [This from the woman who once put ketchup on a taco. Why is anyone shocked?!]

I did have you-shaped feelings any time I ate something that didn't agree with me. It's true. [Grin widening. It shifts a little however, the smile still there but the light starts to fade from her eyes, even as she reaches for a donut.]

We don't have any microwaves on the plane. [He's just arguing for the sake of arguing at this point.]

And now you've lost the one thing that made feeling sick worth it. [He shakes his head regretfully.] Perhaps you'll at least be able to hold onto the nostalgia.

Just shut up and accept my gratitude already. [Rose. That's. Not how people do gratitude.]

You really want me to keep thinking of you when I feel the need to hurl? [Eyebrows raised, the glimmer returning to her eyes.]

[bigbad]

I just assumed it's the best part of needing to hurl. Makes the entire experience more enjoyable. [Don't question his logic.]

[That's some Rose quality logic their Spike.]

I wonder if that means everything else is gone... not that I'm going to miss taking trips to Ghost world.

[And she's healing a lot faster than she used to, which Rose is also chalking up to the change. And not that she got fast healing when she leveled post rez]

Certainly hasn't made you slower on the draw. That was some solid bloody stabbing right there.

[There's this part of Rose that wants to be proud because well. It was pretty badass but at the same time? Being proud of shoving her stake through somebodies chest seems messed up, even for her.]

Yeah.... [An uneasy smile touching her lips.] Might have been a little overkill?

If anyone can use a bit of overkill, it's that bastard. [Spike scowls, taking another donut.] Better overdead than still up and ruining lives.

[One thing to be said for Spike? She knows she can always be safe in assuming that he won't be one of the people sideeying her after what happened.]

Serves him right for trying to stab Alainn in the back anyway. [The darkening of her eyes much angrier than her tone when she adds;] Cheater.

And here we were thinking he was so honorable before. [Spike grimaces.] Wanker. Really did bring it on himself.

[There aren't many times when a conversation like this would ever make sense and while it's only half serious? The fact that she's about to say the next words at all? Says either a lot about Rose and Spike or a lot more about the life they all lead.]

Sorry you didn't get to kill him. [Look she knew he wanted that honor okay.]

[bigbad]

Yeah, suppose it would have been right greedy of me to insist. [He shrugs a shoulder. It's nice of her to say it. But he knows he's far from the only one Dimitris hurt.] He just tortured me. He actually killed you.

[littledhampir]

Yeah... But he didn't even bother to do that in person, so. [He didn't target her specifically. She just happened to be in the tank.] Not sure if that makes it better or worse.

[bigbad]

Bit less personal, I suppose. Whatever that's worth. [Not much, probably. It hurt either way. And she might not have come back, if it weren't for Dean.]

[From the grimace that twists her features? She's not sure it's worth all that much.]

I figure he felt about as much killing me as I did him in the end so it evens out.

It'll never even out. We could only kill him once, while he killed so many he probably couldn't even bloody count.

I don't know... [Rose turns her head to regard Spike for a quiet moment.] I think we both know he's not going to like where he's going.

[Rose figures if anyone heard her parting words to Dimitris, it had to be Spike okay.]
