The morning after, the Knights board a plane at their private airfield, and begin the couple hour flight to the country of Slovechnia.  Wynn has laid out a plan for them as such, leaving Sir Gar in charge of seeing it executed:  they are to send in a few Knights to infiltrate the wedding, while others steal an ambulance from a local hospital.  Using magic to make Sarandis think he's having a heart attack during the ceremony, they will intercept the outgoing call to the paramedics, and pose as them to take him out of there and straight to a private airfield to meet with Wynn.  They're all aware, however, of just how smoothly their plans tend to go where these villains are involved - especially if the Mind Master shows up.  

Either way, it promises to be an interesting day...

She doesn't give herself nearly enough credit, really. There's a reason Wynn has kept her on as mission lead all these years.

I can see it. Maybe it's for the best that she doesn't realize how good she is at this. Wouldn't want her to get a big head.

[rationalizes]

You're far too kind, the both of you. [ just gonna blushu like crazy over here ]

Credit's given where credit's due. [ He smiles. ] The only thing I'd ask to redo is maybe have the girls grab a bigger EMT shirt.

If you need an extra, there might be some on the plane.

[recruited]

Oh no. That thing's shredded somewhere in the back. [ He looks down at the t-shirt he managed to snag. Not a perfect fit, but it wasn't threatening to bust open anytime soon. ] It tore open while I was reaching for someone in the middle of everything. Very embarrassing. I looked like the least professional EMT worker.

[rationalizes]

Accidents happen, even to professionals.

In hindsight I'm regretting not wearing an undershirt. My suit would have been an awful choice to wear under it. Would have made us from that.

[ He smiles. ]

Luckily it didn't come to that. I heard all of the new recruits to the mission pulled their weight quite effectively.

[recruited]

Felicity and Astrid are very good at what they do. Astrid's pretty much one of the smartest doctors I know.

[ Sorry, Bruce. You're not here, dude. ]

[rationalizes]

I think we owe all of them quite a bit.

[recruited]

[ Steve nods his head slowly and then leans forward. ]

I should get back to my seat and let you two talk. [ Or canoodle. Whatever. ]
