The morning after, the Knights board a plane at their private airfield, and begin the couple hour flight to the country of Slovechnia.  Wynn has laid out a plan for them as such, leaving Sir Gar in charge of seeing it executed:  they are to send in a few Knights to infiltrate the wedding, while others steal an ambulance from a local hospital.  Using magic to make Sarandis think he's having a heart attack during the ceremony, they will intercept the outgoing call to the paramedics, and pose as them to take him out of there and straight to a private airfield to meet with Wynn.  They're all aware, however, of just how smoothly their plans tend to go where these villains are involved - especially if the Mind Master shows up.  

Either way, it promises to be an interesting day...

Rose looks lost again because um. Look. She's dating Dean Winchester. Rose wouldn't know normal if it bit her in the ass and she sure wouldn't know what to do with it.]

I am... so not the right person to talk to about normal. [At least she knows it.]

[ Steve lets out a low sigh. ]

I doubt I am either. One walking, talking, experiment from the forties.

I don't really care how I look so long as I can move in it. [Once upon a time Rose used to enjoy dressing up. Now she just. Doesn't have time for that shit. Plus the last time she chose to get super fancy for something and wore a really pretty dress 'Spike' turned out to be a rapist doppelganger who was partially responsible for the kidnapping of two of her friends. These days? Rose wears pants as often as possible.]

You said you want somebody who gets it? If she does? Then go with it. If not... Do you really want to have the talk?

What's easiest for you to move in?

[ She's got a point. Which is why Steve nods his head and doesn't keep beating that drum. He's just going to have to talk to Cordelia about it. He'd ask her out when they got back and then he'd maybe see if she wanted to talk about that at some point. ]

[And with the level of eloquence that one should have come to expect from Rose Hathaway, she comes back with;]

Anything that doesn't ride up my ass or flash it when I try and kick somebody in the head.

That's a pretty wise idea. I mean I definitely wouldn't want to flash someone when I try to kick someone in the head.

I'm shorter and weaker than most things I'll fight. Speed is the one thing I do have on my side and no matter what they try to show you in movies? Fighting in heels and a dress isn't that easy. Give me jeans and sneakers any day of the week.

Yeah. I don't know about weaker. You forget I spar with you. My face does not enjoy it.

[ He smiles at her. ]

I don't watch many movies so I'm not entirely sure what you're talking about. Women fight in heels in them?

[If Rose knew the first thing about physics, she could explain why that is to Steve... But she's Rose. So she just grins instead.]

In too many of the ones I've seen. [All but rolling her eyes.] I mean look, it's doable but reality check time? I don't care how good you are. Heels are a disadvantage. Unless we're talking stilettos cause they'll work as a weapon in a pinch.
