The morning after, the Knights board a plane at their private airfield, and begin the couple hour flight to the country of Slovechnia.  Wynn has laid out a plan for them as such, leaving Sir Gar in charge of seeing it executed:  they are to send in a few Knights to infiltrate the wedding, while others steal an ambulance from a local hospital.  Using magic to make Sarandis think he's having a heart attack during the ceremony, they will intercept the outgoing call to the paramedics, and pose as them to take him out of there and straight to a private airfield to meet with Wynn.  They're all aware, however, of just how smoothly their plans tend to go where these villains are involved - especially if the Mind Master shows up.  

Either way, it promises to be an interesting day...

I don't know. He showed it to me after the castle was attacked, but I don't know when he learned it. Why don't you ask him?

Cause that would involve willingly engaging him in conversation, and honestly I'd rather experience his fire powers first hand. [A beat.] Which would probably happen anyway. You do remember he wants to kill me, right?

You've probably talked to him more in the last two months than I have, Spike. You at least lived under the same roof. For all I knew you two kissed and made up.

[She doesn't...actually sound like she believes that, though.]

It's a big bloody roof. I prefer keeping some distance between us. [He raises his eyebrow.] And you didn't answer my other question.

[She raises one right back.]

What do you think I've been doing while I've been gone? Knitting?

[bigbad]

Flying wasn't really what I had my money on.

[doubletake]

There's no point in learning to take a unique form if I can't use it to my advantage.

[bigbad]

Where'd you learn a form like that? Or can you just become anything you imagine now?

I have to have seen it. Otherwise, I can turn into nearly anything that's roughly the same shape and size as myself.

[bigbad]

Where'd you see that thing? Telly?

I did a lot of research, alright? I wanted to be ready for anything, and it's a good thing I was.

[bigbad]

And have you been taking care of yourself? Tell me you've been doing more than just preparing.

I always take care of myself, Spike. I know quite a few people that would have my head if I didn't.

I've never been healthier. Promise.

Healthy is one thing, happy's another. How're you doing on that end?

[doubletake]

I'll be happier when this whole mess is over and done with. It's hard to go on and on about how great I feel when I just shot someone about 10 times and then had to watch Mark nearly die in a duel.

Right now? I'm just tired.
