Cordelia and Steve have gotten together to plan a rather fun party to celebrate Sarandis being taken down. Abbie even managed to grab them a rather awesome band to entertain the guests and everything else was hand picked and decided on by Cordy and Steve. It's not as fancy as a squiring after party, but it's just as fun. The ballroom has been "dressed down" a little to match the relaxed atmosphere. Enjoy yourselves!

[ Buffy doesn't come out for every squiring party—she's used to being gone for most of them—so the party burnout hasn't struck her in the same way it would have some others. It still holds some novelty, particularly since it's a party at the castle and not some fancy-dress undercover event for the talisman mission.

So in club-wear rather than formalwear, in the form of a crop-top and a high-waisted miniskirt, she looks out over the party and smiles with a sense of finality and closure, thinking that this is a well-earned victory a long time coming. Anyone else, and it might seem in bad taste, but Dimitris Sarandis was a terrorist and a monster.

She pushes away from the wall and makes her way to the dance floor to get her '90s groove on (perform dance 14). ]

[ Skye had a personal bone to pick with Dimitris on two fronts—not only did his chipped minion nearly kill her, but he did kill Kali with a tank and a bag full of grenades. That moment sounded some kind of terrible avalanche that she's happy to blame the nightmare dictator from Hell for, and with him gone, she has a lot to celebrate.

She makes her way to the drink table for a cup full of something that she's going to try not to throw up later, colorful enough to give the impression of multiple types of liquor. With that in hand, she nudges around the room to look for people that she knows. ]

If there were ever a time it's not in bad taste to be celebrating someone's death …

[ Steve's lost teammates. He's lost civilians. He's had to make not great calls. He had the government breathing down his throat about a lot of things. You do the right thing because it's the right thing. Not because you get thanked or a medal. ]

[ He remembers fondly their trip shopping when she lost her stuff to the castle collapse. ]

Feels like deja vu. Next thing you know you'll invite me to bunk in your room too. [ Steve suddenly realizes how that sounds. ]

[Barry will just be ... over here, loading up a plate for those ten thousand calories he needs every day, so he's mostly going to be focused on the stuff that's four hundred calories and up.]

It may be her second by now. ] And every person whose life he touched has earned like ten of these because mine wasn't even the worst of it. He had whole Shadowkind experimentation camps set up on Andres.

[Sam dragged his butt to this party for at least a little while, at least, though he feels a little weird about having a party to celebrate someone's death, no matter how shitty they were.

He catches sight of her on the dance floor from his spot at one of the tables on the outskirts where he's nursing a beer, and he waves hello at her when they meet eyes for however briefly.]

I'm confused right now. Like very confused.
