Cordelia and Steve have gotten together to plan a rather fun party to celebrate Sarandis being taken down. Abbie even managed to grab them a rather awesome band to entertain the guests and everything else was hand picked and decided on by Cordy and Steve. It's not as fancy as a squiring after party, but it's just as fun. The ballroom has been "dressed down" a little to match the relaxed atmosphere. Enjoy yourselves!

[ He remembers fondly their trip shopping when she lost her stuff to the castle collapse. ]

[ He didn't even have a car. Couldn't afford that fancy shit. Plus being ninety pounds soaking wet didn't do it with the ladies. They didn't flock to Steve. ]

Oh. [ He breathes. ] I'm a little--I've never had a girlfriend. [ He admits quietly. Then he glances around the ballroom. ] I've also never gone to a woman's bunk. [ Polite way of putting it. They're together now. She needs to know. ]

I know you said you never really dated, but... never? [ she doesn't sound judgy, at least. again, it's... kind of sweet. she just hopes he doesn't expect her to live up to 1940s virginity standards because she's got bad news for you, buddy. ]

[ Steve was from Brooklyn so it was full of artists and people who didn't really fit into a lot of areas. Single mothers. Widows. Widowers. Women who were defined as loose. He didn't ever notice. Plus he's friends with Tony Stark so really he is not going to judge her ever. ]

I wasn't the female dream back in my time and then the war came. I was pretty busy and since then I've kind of just continued to keep busy. [ He never stopped to think much about it. ] You're not weirded out right?

Please. A girl would much rather hear that a guy doesn't have to get tested, believe me. [ cordy no ] Er, what I mean is... [ she gathers herself, and gives him a reassuring smile ]

[ He thinks that's a compliment, but it sounds a little wishy washy. He'll take it though because he knows that he's not really on point with words either. ]

[ she grins as he draws her back in, adding: ] Two heroes who really know how to dance.

[ Steve quietly takes her hand and leads her outside with him. He doesn't say anything, but he does look up at the sky. He positions Cordy in a specific spot and points upwards. ]
