Four days after the briefing, President Kim sends a plane for the team of Knights dispatched by Wynn, and their flight to Seoul—what could have been a grueling 12-hour affair—is spent in the most comfort that can be afforded by a highly regarded politician. The seats are roomy, the staff is attentive, and no one shouts at them to return to their seats.

They're put up in a hotel near the Blue House, the seat of the executive powers of South Korea, where the President-Elect has asked to meet them to go over the security plans for the inauguration.

[ "Please do." Kim nods to Ward, then turns her attention to Anastacia. "I've made only my closest associates aware of what you're here to do. As far as the rest of my staff is concerned, you are my personal guests, here to support me in my recent political win. I estimated that it might make your work easier if they were not so guarded as to believe you were evaluating them."

Skye, meanwhile, is leering intermittently at Ward with the realization that if he's doing surveillance and she's checking up on security leaks, they'll be running back-end on this together while Anastacia and Abbie poke around. She glances at Doyle and Jeanne optimistically. ]

[ "That's all I know. But thank you for coming, and I'm relieved to know some of you will be spending your time here to stay close." Kim smiles, stands, and excuses them.

Skye looks back at the others. ]

So, how do we want to split up? Sounds like Ward and I are best served with the chief of security, but I know you wanted to do some poking around. [ Teams!! ]

[Ward glances to Skye when she brings up the fact that they would end up working together to check security. He doesn't mind the prospect, but he's sure that Skye would've sooner had someone else to team up with.

He simply gives her a nod, trying to instill some sort of reassurance that he's not here to give her any trouble. (diplomacy 19)]

I would like to stay with the President Elect. I don't think anyone would be so bold as to attack her here, but one of us should still remain with her. I think it's best that Anastacia remain among the workers here, as you can speak and understand Korean. I am open to suggestions, however, to where you all think you'll be best suited.

I don't speak Korean, but I do know how to build a profile and gather information. Might be good for Anastacia and I to get to know the workers together, if we can.

I'll go with Jeanne that way it's two and two. [ He gave a shrug. Looking over to Jeanne.] Long as that's good with you.

[ "I welcome the company." Kim smiles, gesturing for Doyle and Jeanne to take a seat. Skye, meanwhile, looks up at Ward, hesitates, then turns around and makes her way from the room with a look of unease to this thread.

[ jeanne gives doyle a kind smile, taking her sword off in order to sit. ]

Everything you've told us has been very informative, but is there anything else? Even if it's small or perhaps you think it unrelated, it could help. [ diplomacy 29, gather information 24 idk which one would be better. why not both. ]

[ Doyle returned the smile, and remained standing. He nodded as the president elect explained.]

People are like that when they don't understand, love, that's probably not going to change least not till your into your term a bit. [ he offered with a sympathetic look. Being part demon, he got that feeling.]

[ She nods, albeit reluctantly.

"There are some whose minds I'm sure will never change, but all we can do is hope enough will. I hope that I can use this office as a tool to make great strides." ]

Hope is the best you can do and the best you can give your people.

[ Kim smiles, nodding with earnest as though she feels that Jeanne has finally understood something that she's tried to convey for some time. "It's the most important thing, certainly. Without hope, there would be no change." ]

[ Doyle nodded, he agreed hope was the best thing to have in these times. ]

Change never comes easy, but the hopes there. Least I think so.

[ Kim nodded, as if grateful for the understanding, then got to her feet.

"I have a meeting in an hour across the city. If you would like, you are welcome to come with me, but I do ask that you remain outside, as the information to be discussed is ... unfortunately classified." She gestured to the door. "Otherwise, you are welcome to join your friends." ]

I'll go, I'll wait out side. No problem.

I would like to go as well, if it's all the same.

[ Kim smiles and says, "I'm pleased to hear that." She moved to grab her purse from behind her desk. "Follow me." Then, she led them out of the conference room and down the long hallways of the Blue House to the front where a car waited for them with the South Korean flag posted on the hood. ]
