The plan has been set, and the Knights are on their way to New York City once again - this time with the desperate hope fueling them that they can save two of their own, instead of simply endangering them further.  Jack and Buffy have greater stakes in this than anyone - as it is Jack's fiancee, Gar and the love of Buffy's life, Rafael, who are currently in the grip of the vile villains that have plagued them for the last four years.  Knowing fully well the risks that are inherent in potentially facing down the dangerous Mind Master, who shattered Myri's life in an instant by breaking Finnick Odair's psyche, their plan is to divide and search the warehouse as quickly as possible - knowing that every second counts, when an alerted team of bad guys could take the lives of their captured friends.  

It's an unparalleled gamble, but may be their only opportunity before Rafael and/or Gar are moved from the facility.  To that end, they converge at a nearby hotel...

[ there's a bearded guy in his forties who's sitting in a cop car nearby, although he doesn't seem restrained by cuffs. there's an officer hovering outside the door, and a few people are craning their necks to look that way.

he doesn't look particularly concerned or rattled by what just happened. ]

[Yeah, that doesn't surprise her. She slowly starts to move closer to the car as she murmurs just loud enough for her comm to hear.]

Seems like a guy and a bugbear got into it. Guy who did it claims it was self defense, but he doesn't seem all that scared.

There's been a growing rash of these incidents, if reports are to be believed. I think we might be seeing things boiling to a very nasty head, particularly here in America.

I don't, however, imagine it's related to what we're doing. You'd best return, Sir Braddock, and we'll get this operation underway.
