[Earlier in the week all DRAKENET devices received a message announcing Francesca's birthday party, courtesy of Sir Bancroft, to be held the evening of July 11. No RSVP needed. It's especially good timing now that many mission groups have returned to the castle, at least for the time being.

As the guests make their way in, it's clear the party's been well stocked with food and drink. There's plenty of room for mingling and some music in the background. Gifts are completely optional, but welcome. Come in and get comfortable.]

[She's definitely not used to such uncouth methods of drinking, but she would never want to risk insulting Spike by saying as much. Instead she takes hold of the bottle, offers him an easy grin, and takes a small swig. With a will save of 29, she stubbornly suppresses her gag reflex.

It takes her a moment to recompose herself, but she quickly recovers her smile and hands the bottle back to him.] Not surprising you have good taste.

[Spike grins at her, takes the bottle back, and takes his own, somewhat larger swig. He's pretty much all about the uncouth.] Yeah? Glad you approve. They had some out to taste at the store I went to. Burns so much it might as well be holy water. There's a sign of a high quality drink.

[She's pretty sure that's actually the sign of a bad quality drink, but she just chuckles.] A liquor store with free samples? I would ask how you find such places, but it seems fitting. [She doesn't reach for the bottle back, trying to pace herself a little.]

I've got a gift. [And he saw an advertisement for some ~event~ but shhh.]

[She can't fight temptation too long, and she reaches for the tequila.] It's just nice to know you were thinking of me.

Well, love, it is your party. [He lets her have the bottle with a grin.]
