The "afterparty" is rumored to be the real main event of the night. A black-tie affair in the lavish, opulent ballroom, it is every new Knight's chance to mingle and meet some of their new brothers in arms. Of course, a couple hours are provided following the ceremony for everyone to change, do hair and makeup, and choose from the vast array of formal attire in the closets of the balcony "dressing rooms" located at the top of spiraled staircases on either side of the ballroom. A separate dressing room exists for men and women, and they include full bathrooms (with, thankfully, very modern plumbing).

The squires are usually among the last to arrive, and the ballroom is full to the brim with a fancy array of people, of all shapes, sizes and species.

Hope you aren't shy. They're all here to meet you.

Feel free to make your own open threads for people to come congratulate your newly pledged knight.

ooc; also if your Knight wants to get all gussied up, you can make a Disguise (Cha) check for how good they were at hair/makeup/stylin', etc! This goes for... any time.

[Grin widening as Rose discards the dress and moves for the door, cracking it open so she can peak outside.]

How mad do you think tall blonde and serious will be if we do this?

[Rose doesn't intimidate easily but Wynn? He's really not somebody she's keen to be on the wrong side of.]

[ Usually Amrita regards those words as guidelines, and if they are in accordance with her own personal beliefs when it comes to what can't/shouldn't be/wouldn't be done, making her budge is about as simple as lifting an elephant.

It is however also true that if one pushes the right buttons there are certain directions in wich she will budge quite easily.

[Rose's brow furrowed, thinking back on her conversation with Wynn. She wanted to say no and yet, one thing he'd said made her smile a little at the memory.]

Not sure. He told me I had spirit? I still haven't decided if it was meant to be a compliment or an insult.

But they seem to take the formal crap pretty seriously. With all the mine oath be whatever.

[She considered that for a moment then simply nodded, accepting that as truth. Let it never be said that Rose Hathaway was boring, that was for sure.]

I just wasn't sure if that was like, code for difficult.

[She may have only had vague memories of her life before coming here but frustrating people seemed to be something that felt familiar... especially the ridiculously tall, broody types.]
